Could not have been better. Five stars!
Alexander gave a really good route recommendation for the amount of time I had available to ride (only a day, sadly). I did a loop around the Verdon Gorge. I had perfect weather, so that helped. Did about 370 km (including some riding back to my hotel the previous night).

Tacked on some personal travel at the end of a business trip in France, thought I'd rent a bike. Looked at a few places, got the best vibe from Alexander at Columbus International. Rented from him and I'm glad I did.
I got a great bike, BMW R1200GS, which was perfect for the roads I was riding. No drama, no quirks, no issues to deal with while trying to navigate roads that were new to me. The bike just flat out worked great. I had never ridden this particular model, so I wanted to try it out, see why people seem to love it so much, and now I see why it won so many awards through the years.
