Visited this fantastic shop while on holiday from Australia ( 7/2017) They could not have been more friendly & generous with their time to ensure we left with heaps of quality gear , great service & lots of laughs.

Visited the shop a few weeks ago while on holiday in Paris from Australia.
I just wanted to say a big thankyou to the guys at Cycles Laurent for being so helpful and were just good decent guys on my recent visit to their shop.
It's a great shop with heaps of gear and a really good range of cycling clothing. I'm very tall so was pleasantly surprised that they had such a good range of sizes - well done guys!
I'll certainly visit again when next in Paris.

Best place in all the area (Bastille/République) because they were the only one to accept to check/repare my bike without an appointment. Professional and fare price!

I visited Cycles Laurent on the strength of Google reviews. Very glad I did - it must be the best place in Paris to buy good local cycling jerseys and bib knicks. Friendly, helpful and professional staff made the whole process very easy. They also have a good range of road bikes inc Pinarello & BMC plus parts and a workshop. Highly recommended.

While visiting Paris from the US, my wife stopped in to find a jersey to bring back to me as a gift. Though clearly a non-cycling tourist, the staff there were exceptionally friendly and helpful to her. Upon her return to the US, we discovered that the jersey she selected was a bit too small and had to be returned. The staff there (Stephanie and Cedric) bent over backwards to accommodate the long-distance exchange (which also included helping to resolve a glitch in the process that occurred at my end). Very happy with the purchase and the great customer service!

Wonderful historic shop located away from the tourist throngs but a pleasant walk from Notre Dame. The young man behind the counter was very pleasant and offered to help me find any size jersey I needed from their additional stock behind the counter. A previous review mentioned that they were very rude to him when he was unable to speak French, but with only very little French I had a great experience and the staff was friendly even after we switched to English. As when visiting any foreign country, taking the time to learn even a little of the local language helps to share the language of bikes.

Wow..was looking for a jersey to bring home as a gift. Staying my final night of a work trip in a hotel near Republique. Walked around for an hour, and thought I would come home empty handed. Then I saw the neon "VELO" sign from a few blocks away. Wow..what a great collection of jerseys. VERY friendly, English speaking staff. Now I read about what I "stumbled" into. Very lucky

I have been coming to Cycles Laurent for nearly a decade and always had good experiences, despite my limited French. They always make an effort and don't dismiss my poor grammar and make an extra effort to understand me and keep my business. I highly recommend them. Great prices, too.

Cycles Laurent, which is the oldest bike shop in Paris has the largest selection of kits and jerseys that I have ever seen on any continent, both current and classic retro, and also have a great collection of lovely museum-quality signed Tour de France jerseys. It's worth stopping in to look at the collection, and yes, they also sell bicycles, mostly high end models. The staff is super friendly, very helpful and bike knowledgeable. The location is convenient to the Metro or via cycling or walking.
