Delicious tea and macaroons!

Everything in the store looked amazing! Excellent presentation, very enticing. Though they are known for the Le Dalloyau, a praline cake filled with almond meringue and the Opera, an almond flavored cookie layered with butter cream, chocolate, and coffee, we opted for a chocolate eclair. It was delicious, probably the best eclair we have ever had!

I was also happy to learn that the restaurant is an independently-owned family business. We will visit again for another great treat soon!

The staff didn't seem to talk very much but polite. Didn't ask if we needed help, didn't ask if we have questions.

Dalloyau has been around since Napoleon, 1682!

Delicious quiche and flan. Coffee is very nice too. A bit on the pricey side though

Dalloyau dessert was really goooood, pricey but good.

Similar to our experiences at Pierre Herme and Alain Ducasse Chocolates, it's pricey at Dalloyau but you pay for what you get!

NOTE: There is a tearoom at the Dalloyau but if you are looking for tea, try Laduree Royale at 16 rue Royale. Get the Mont Blanc and some macaroons!

I was a little hesitant to buy such a "fancy" cake for such a small celebration that included only my husband and I. However, it was our anniversary so we took the plunge. How happy I am that we did! The cake was marvelous! Chocolate cake, with chocolate ganache and a meringue frosting disguised as a snowman (it was the winter holiday season).

The most gorgeous hot chocolate ever! Wonderful coffee. Great lunch choice, courteous service. The food is served in beautiful china. Unfortunately the surrounds of the 'tea room' are really shabby. Scuffed, not very clean walls, and the facilities upstairs are so dirty it is best to avoid. We can't understand the incongruence of the select high class offerings with such a neglected venue. Would have given five stars otherwise.
