I have rented bicycles from DdL for 3 years, had normal bikes and tandems for 4 to 8 people. I found their service great, they bring and pick up the bikes at the agreed time. If there is anything wrong with the bike, they come and repair. Service is friendly and very efficient. Their bikes are great and well maintained. This is an excellent company and I can truly recommend them.

Online and at the store, says they are open but no one is here. Called and no answer. I would call to make a reservation beforehand if it's late in the season. Or you will arrive only to find them closed. Bummer.

Attention arnaqueurs !! On vous annonce 20 euros de réparation et à l'arrivée on vous demande 15 euros en plus ! De plus l'accueil n'est pas très cordial, bref je déconseille vivement cette adresse ! Préférer les ateliers d'auto réparation comme le Roulement à Bill.

Poor customer service. As a group of 4 we arrived in Tours from Paris to rent bikes for a trip from Tours to Blois, we were told there were no more bikes to rent to go to where we need to go. They said that due to a large amount of people renting, they no longer provided the service of renting at one shop and returning to another. I am not upset about that fact, just the way that we were treated especially when we wanted nothing more than to rent bikes and if we couldn't rent them,then find out where we could. The man in charge barely looked up at us and just told us to go searching for other companies and see at the tourist office for information.
Granted we made no prior reservations which was also our fault (hence the 2 stars not any less)

Excellent service, we rent excellent bikes allowing us to enjoy the a breath taking cycling scenic route through the Loire.

Fantastic service! One of our bikes broke on the way to Villandry. They dropped off a new bike in no time and we were back on the that again. Very friendly and very helpful

Absolute ineficiency. I went by the store on Friday July 8th to get information on procedures to rent bikes, was told to just show up. I showed the next day to be told that all the bikes were already rented, I asked to make a rservation and was told it was not possible. So yesterday 7/16 I call at 930 am to be told the bikes were against all rented out. I asked if it was possible to make a reservation since they seem to be always sold out, and again told no. I showed up today at 920 am, and was the 4th person in line. When they finally opened 10 minutes late I was told that they only had 3 bikes for rentals, the others were for reservations! and the couples behind me had reservations. What????????????? You would think that the staff would care, but NO they do not. I would be VERY careful and not believe anything they tell you there. AND MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! I am very disappointed I live in Hawaii and NEVER would we treat our visitors this way. Aloha O'e

Guys are very friendly, I had a small issue with my bike after flight, they fixed it really quickly (I just had a coffee and it was solved) and refused to take money.

It is a busy place this Saturday morning. It is 9:35, there are 4 people ahead of me renting bicycles and 12 behind me when it is my turn. Staff is very friendly, fixing simple bike pbs for free for another customer. My bicycle is ready in 2 minutes. To respond to a previous post, I asked and reservations can only be done a week in advance (or more). According to the clerc, there was about 70 bicycles for rent today, they were all gone when I returned mine at about 5:30pm (I don't know when they ran out).
Going along the Loire river is very nice. The bike path ends about 6 miles east of Tours on the way to Amboise, and picks up again closer to Amboise. Overall, an excellent day and experience!
