The usual excellent and relaxing two weeks.. Always a pleasure coming back to D de la B. We enjoy living well up the hill so that we get some exercise to compensate for the holiday food and wine. Every year there seems to be something new. We have been 14 times now, which some might say is a lack of imagination, but once you have had the best, why settle for less?

Nice surroundings, pool area clean however not big enough for the size of the complex. Showers not cleaned enough but situated in the best place to discover the south of france. Overall better than ok

Really disappointing - don't go expecting a tranquil, 5 star experience!. Okay ......so, I'm going to try to be as fair and objective as I can taking into account all this campsite has to offer. Firstly I want to address the 5 star rating. I was visiting from the UK where I think 5 star represents a whole different meaning and my expectations were too high. If you take into account the huge amount of facilities and activities on this site then I guess it is 5 star (large pool area, loads of sports, kids play areas, gym, bar, restaurant, discos and entertainment, films shown, exercise and craft classes). You can't knock the things to do element BUT I feel that the website suggests that the site is tranquil & relaxing. The photos show a beautifully lit pool area all zen & relaxing, lovely restaurant and bar areas to settle down in and chill out. The reality is that the pool area is as the pictures but rammed with children and families as were the shop areas, restaurant, bar, play areas and just about everywhere you looked on the site! The noise was immense from about 8am till about 12 at night from children playing, general campsite life and the music entertainment that was supposed to finish at 11 but went on till about 12.20am, very loudly! The pitches are not as big as suggested but to be fair on measuring them they are what is put in the small print. Our pitch was really difficult to get into with a 7m motor home as it had trees at tricky angles. We just about made it! The pitches are dusty and what little privacy trees there are between pitches are low in height, dusty and look a bit sorry for themselves! The pitches are very close together - don't expect any privacy. Looking out over the site there were people in tents, caravans, motor homes as far as you could see. Washing strewn everywhere on trees and bushes plus on plastic dryers etc. (even though the rules said no washing hung from trees). I have to say the pitches area reminded me of images I have seen on the news in the past showing 'the jungle' at Calais! Harsh but true! The sanitary facilities although packed with people were pretty clean. The pool area was clean from what I saw and the restaurant (not as nice as the photos on the website suggest) but okay. So in conclusion - if you want a site jam packed with families and things to do for the kids, loads of loud entertainment into the night, this is your place. If you want a reasonably peaceful setting with a mix of gentle campsite life, nice pool, bar & restaurant then it's not for you. I would also add that the reception area is pretty plush for a campsite. You get quite a 'Grand' welcome but once you get inside this isn't reflected in the rest of the feel of the place. Also - not great communication from booking to arrival. I had to chase my payment and booking confirmation a couple of times and then when we had to reduce our stay by a day and I alerted the site I got a bit of a shirty response about 'still having to pay the full amount' (I didn't expect anything different and didn't ask for a refund!). We then actually did get an email from the site on the day before arrival pretty much saying 'where are you'! Even though we had confirmation saying they knew about our later arrival date! Bit ironic! Needless to say - we lasted a day and a night and left! It was our 10th wedding anniversary holiday and it just wasn't the setting we envisaged for our special holiday celebration. We left and found another site. I would pursue a refund but I'm pretty sure I'd be wasting my time. My only request would be that you clearly market yourself as a busy, family campsite and drop the act on your website. Maybe take some more realistic photos to add to your website too showing how busy the place is. We visited in late August - goodness knows what it was like in the height of the season. Just disappointing and not what we hoped for.

Stayed in a mobile home plot 349. the accommodation was very well situated and very clean.
The holiday was booked direct with the campsite, Isabelle was outstanding.
The reception staff were excellent .
The whole holiday from start to finish was excellent in every aspect.
Thank you very much.

Great venue. Love this campsite but animation staff were not very engaging with English. Pool is really great but does not have enough chairs and it needs swim lanes! Restuarant food and venue are good but waited for ever to get food. . Camping pitches are not very good, dark and no grass just dust.
We would however recommend this site as one of the best.

Happy Campers. The welcome on arrival was excellent....all the staff are superb and very helpful. We rented a pitch with private facilities and the pitch was very private .........nothing to complain about.

Excellent resort camping with large spaces that offer a large amount of privacy. Great pool and facilities with lots to do for kids of all ages including adults.
