I have stayed at the George V four or five times over the years, typically for stays of three to five days at a time, and always found it to be a top notch experience.

Unbelievably, the George V came to the rescue and took us in. Try to picture our faces as we, a bunch of teenagers and a few 20 - 30 something year old teacher/chaperones, walked into the lobby of the George V. Instead of rooming two to a room we had to do three per room, but who cared! We had an outstanding three days and two nights at the George V.

Absolutely magnificent, though you'll pay a lot for this level of service and opulence. The burger I ate was one of the best I've ever had, but was it worth more than €50? Probably not quite. For a splurge, though, you can't beat the ambience for feeling like a high roller. Get the hot chocolate if you possibly can, it's a life-changer.

Beautiful, well appointed rooms.

Beautiful building with amazing decor. The front entrance staff were very friendly. The food was incredible on a whole other level. The only issue was that despite being a 1 Micheline star restaurant with quite a high price tag on its food (5 of us ordered the 110 euro set meals along with 200 euro of wine), the waiters and wine staff were very slow to service us and didn't seem to be working quite at the level such an establishment would be expected of.

The bar and reception was amazing. We didn't have the chance to experience the hotel yet but the restaurants and the bar are just incredible for the atmosphere. As for the drinks... everybody knows how hard it is to get very good and perfectly executed cocktails. some are very good some less but perfect... rare. well there, they have I think after trying several other places one of the best cocktails I ever had and I went to multiple countries worldwide (more than 20) Great drinks there and great atmsophere and service :) worth the price. also such great cocktails in such an amazing location are not as expensive as I thought it would be.

Comfy bed, gorgeous building and decor, and everybody speaks English and is very helpful. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Paris, and a 3 Michelin Star restaurant to boot!

Upon arrival in Paris late one evening for three days of Parisian culture, we found that there had been a fire that day in the hotel that were were booked to stay in and it was closed for investigation and inspection.

Because of that experience we have tried to stay there whenever we had the chance to return the beautiful city of Paris. I was lucky to have a father that was an international commercial airline pilot, so what we saved on airfare by flying standby we could put into the hotel.

The George V sets the standard for all other hotels, restaurants and any entity that relies on customer satisfaction for their trade.

We had the most wonderful lunch looked after by people who truly care about every aspect of your experience whilst in this grand dame in the four seasons collection. From the phone handling to the welcome (despite our late arrival) upon arrival. We kept the menu down to two courses but spent a wonderful 2 and a half hours being gobsmacked by flavours, textures and service. Yes it's not cheap dinner, but it's not dinner ... it's art, history, craftsmanship and the constant pursuit of excellence that makes places like this a must-do. Discovered some new wines I had never heard of and enjoyed the best sweetbread I had ever had (sorry mum). Unpretentious, uncomplicated, honest, perfect. Bravo!

We stopped here for one night when on our honeymoon trip to the south of France and it was the most amazing hotel experience I've ever had. Everyone was friendly, smiling, constantly looking for ways to help. We used the pop up spa for a couple's massage [we each booked our own massage, but they asked if we wanted to be in the same room]. The spa staff were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. The room itself was beautiful, the bed felt like a cloud and the attention to detail is impeccable. [We had the romance package so there was a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers waiting for us. There were also 4 macarons upon arrival, though I don't know if that is normal or because of the romance package]. We had breakfast in our room and it was plentiful, delicious and prompt. Finally, the hotel lobby and common areas are beautiful with flower arrangements that apparently change often. Overall, it is an experience not to be missed.

If you want to experience true European luxury and French hospitality. You need to stay in this hotel. I don't know where should I start from. The service, ambience, food everything is just too if the line. We had a meal in the cinq restaurant and that was an experience - simply awesome. I love the flowers in the lobby and they make the day so special. One more experience - try and make a booking through the reservation department, you will get to know what is true customer service. It's been a while I forgot the name of the lady and my apologies. She was outstanding worth every penny when you stay here. Going back in June again

Believe it or not, my very first stay at the George V was as an accidental tourist. As a senior in high school I traveled with a group of one dozen or so advanced french students, all 17 - 18 years old, on a two week excursion trough the countryside, cities and even beaches of France. We stayed in very nice hotel, though not as nice as the George V, until...
