Rented a vehicle in May for a short 10 day trip and the support, service and experience were amazing! We were upgraded from our initial vehicle and the one we had only had 2000km. We repeated the experience in November for a 16 day trip and once again everything was perfect. It's well worth the short train commute to pick up the vehicle outside of a big city or airport, especially if youre not used to the vehicle size. Both times we were picked up and dropped off at the train station or rental car depot ( you can rent a car from Europcar at the airport and drop it off at their depot in Sens, they will pick you up there.) The staff is great and very helpful, highly recommend and also taking the GPS and bikes.

I was planning a surprise honeymoon for my wife and we both love road trips, so I figured a road trip through some part of Europe would be fantastic. I stumbled upon FMH while doing research online and decided to reach out to them given their great reviews and it was the best decision/highlight of our trip!

The van itself is PERFECT for two! FMH does an excellent job of providing all the necessities including utensils, pots, pans, bedding, chairs, tables, extension cords, water pipe etc. We stocked up at Auchen (Walmart equivalent of US), which is nearby the depot for all your food, supplies and other essentials. Although we took a couple detours from the recommended route by Hannah, but we stuck to majority of it and it was PERFECT.

I do have to mention the super bicycle tuning skills of Scott. Our "rentals" were superb, where they typically are not. Kudos. We will be back.

Return was efficient, friendly and speedy ( we had no damage!)

From the very beginning, the staff was extremely helpful, especially Hannah. I explained to Hannah how this was a surprise trip and Hannah was patient enough to listen to what types of activities my wife and I like to do and helped us create an itinerary for the week through Loire Valley, suggested a company for hot air balloon (highly recommend!) and even offered us a free upgrade to a more luxurious campervan! The entire process was seamless - filled out the necessary documents online and made the payment via my credit card.

Fantastic Experience! Would book again 100%. My partner and I could not fault anything with this company, from the moment we initially enquired to the moment we checked the van in, everything was simply great! Hannah and Iva were always so quick on the email, which makes for peace of mind being so far away. My partner and I are in our 20's and from Australia and were both a little anxious/apprehensive about booking a campervan but our worries soon diminished with the help of Iva & Hannah. They answered all of my nitty gritty (somewhat painful) questions very quickly and always so politely! The detail on the website is INCREDIBLE! I mean seriously, you could plan your entire trip via this one website haha. Check in/Check out of the vehicle was efficient and seamless, everything was well documented and communicated thoroughly with us. The condition of the van was fantastic, absolute beauty of a car, we miss it! We especially liked having everything come with the van under one price bracket - we met many people on the road who complained about other companies and having to purchase this, that and the rest but we had literally everything which was great. A small thing, if you're a keen cyclist and want to ride the hills I'd recommend you bring your own bike. The bikes that you can get with the vans are good for the old commute around town or to the supermarket but won't get you much further! Nothing major though :) All in all, it was simply an incredible experience hiring a van, made all the more easier having booked through these guys!

Overall, can't say enough how truly amazing this entire experience was. The size of the campervan is ideal for parking and driving through the low-height, narrow streets of Loire Valley. The only unexpected/disappointing experience was a small scratch on one of the wheels upon returning the vehicle. It probably happened during a sharp turn/running over a curb, but hey that's what insurance is for right?

When we decided to enjoy France on a motorhome I contacted several companies looking for a complete offer. France Motorhome Hire was one of the few ones including bed linen, towels, outdoor furniture, etc., this is what really matters to customers like us that come outside France.
Motorhome model from this year 2017 in perfect conditions.
We definitely recommend this company.

We hired a beautiful vehicle from France Motorhome Hire which we enjoyed immensely, complete with a couple of bikes on the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also gave us tips on where to go and what to see based on their own travel experiences which was invaluable as our trip was quite short. We’d be very happy to recommend them to other friends considering a motor home holiday in France.

We were very impressed with every aspect of our rental experience with France Motorhome Hire. Our motorhome was brand new, but from what we saw at the depot all of their vehicles are nearly new, immaculate and well maintained. Their website and the printed information they supply includes every detail that we needed from where to buy groceries to where to camp. All of the staff where extremely helpful. Phil went well beyond his call of duty to help us sort out transportation issues during France's rail strike.
We wouldn't hesitate to hire from them again, or to recommend them.

Jose/Jesus, can't recall his name who helped inspect/check-out the vehicle was super friendly and shared the excitement given how much we were looking forward to it. My wife was completely surprised and couldn't stop smiling and taking pictures! FMH does an AMAZING job maintaining their vehicles. J made sure to show us all the dings/dents/scratches already on the vehicle, gave us a tutorial of the ins and outs of the campervan and tips as first-time campers.

Iva came and picked us up at the hotel we were staying in Sens and was right on time. She was super nice and courteous. The entire check-in process was seamless and straightforward. We hadn't purchased the excess reduction insurance and Iva suggested we do (and glad we did - more on that later). The staff provided us with the contact information to purchase the insurance right on the spot, which we did and gave us the peace of mind in case anything happens.

Motorhome pickup - lengthy scrutiny of any scratches and scrapes with warnings re damage and cost of repairs. Induction to the van and appliances was speedy, and accompanied by comprehensive written notes. Generated a degree of 'damage anxiety' ( even with excess insurance) which whilst it didn't spoil the holiday, was an ever present issue.

Hannah, Iva, and the rest of the FMH staff - sincere thanks for making this such a memorable trip for my wife and I. We hope to do it again to explore another part of beautiful France in the future!

I recommend coming into Sens (a nearby town) the day/night prior to get situated. We opted for the shuttle pick-up and drop-off service, totally worth the extra charge.

Working with Phil, Hannah and the crew at France Motorhome Hire set out RV vacation in the right direction. Their attention to detail when stocking the RV with household items was key! Everything you needed and more where included! The smallest detail was not over-looked in their inventory: a clothesline and pins, ice cube tray, trivits, scissors, guide books, table and chairs, coffee press and the list goes on . . . .

We primarily used France Passion, local service where local farmers, wine and cheesemakers allow you to park your campervan and you get a local experience. This was absolutely amazing as we got to interact with local wine makers etc. This is a great way to save costs on fees for parking, refilling water and getting a local experience.

Motorhome was comfy, well equipped, and performed effortlessly.
Major deficiency was no awning, in France, in hottest spell in June - and not advised of this.

We've used France motorhome hire 3 times & had 3 fantastic holidays. I can highly recommend this company. The vans are spotlessly clean, mechanically perfect & come equipped with all the necessities. On arrival the friendly team talk through the running of the van, then you're off to explore, it's by far the best way to explore France. Thankyou again FMH.

We rented a van for two weeks and were offered an upgrade to a near brand new van. We were visiting out of season in early december and the van kept us cozy and warm, on the road reliable, and easy to use. The staff were great- friendly and were quick, timely, and thorough with everything. Highly recommend.

motorhome was in great condition and the france motorhome staff were super helpfull. Had everything you needed in the motorhome and france is so well setup for motorhomes with places everywhere to stay for free or very little, such a good trip, now planning on when we can come back and do it again.
