So I have been ready reviews about this place and they were not the nicest. So I was a bit skeptical. But man, I had such a great time at FreeDJ.

Also so not true about if you don't speak French you will be ignored. I don't speak a word of French and I was well taken care of by the lovely bartenders.

Great music, great staffs, great drinks. I am Thai, so we are great at smiling. And that will take you a long way, just smile! The bouncers were really friendly despite the review about them being super rude and push you. They were non of that.

The place is pretty small with 2 floors. Downstairs is pop music and dancing. Easily feel crowded due to very small space on both level.
They have a dedicated smoking room in the bad that pump the smoke out onto the street.

Very rude staff on a monday night (tall guy, short dark hair with glasses, total arrogant diva), specifically towards foreign customers(i was the only french among my friends, 9 of us). They overcharge you, give you the wrong change (tried to steal my bf €10 because he couldn't speak french)...
JUST don't give them the right to speak to you the way they want "IF" you end up there guys, my biggest advice. I personnel will never ever go back there.

What can I say, I fucking love this place!

Music was not too loud in both floors which is great.

Horrible service unless you speak French. Was at happy hour so unless you speak French they will give you a coupon for drinks. Had to remind them every time to give me one. If your French they give you no problem! They also accept credit cards but when asked even through they speak perfect English they would not accept but some French guy shows up they accept. IGNORANT!!!!! Come to America you dump French people and get treated with respect!!!!!!

My favorite gay bar in Le Marais. Amazing music

Drinks was over priced. Could be being over charge bez we are not French as other reviewers said. We order Vodka Soda and Vodka Sprite and it was 21 Euro.

Old, snobbish ( or simply Parisian) clientele. Design is nice. Coke costs 4 €
