A great place to shop. When we went there, there were so many clothes in so many bright colours, I felt like I'd bought up half the shop.

Perhaps what I like about it is that this place isn't crowded. Granted, I went late morning, and so it's not primetime, maybe I should come back in the late afternoon and see. But nevertheless, I feel that there are less people here than in KaDeWe, even though what they sell are more or less comparable. I have the feeling that KaDeWe is more crowded due to its hype, while this one is more subdued so to speak.

I was here earlier, looking for gourmet stuff. And since I haven't really been here, even though I knew it exists, I decided to check out the gastronomy level in the basement.

met a wonderful lady there by the name of Aurelie Girault. She was very helpful & spoke wonderful English.

In any case, I'll be back here, every now and then, when I need some interesting gourmet goodies.

The clothes were unique and fashionable, not things I see everywhere. My only critiques are that it was quite expensive, and the escalators were out of order, but I suppose that's a technical difficulty.

Ooh la la, this is such a Francophile place. I am not surprised (perhaps they do have a relationship with the Galleries Lafayette in Paris and the name isn't just a coincidence), and yes, there are plenty of interesting goodies here.
