Bring a flashlight if you want to see the exhibition. Its very dark and unfortunately thats wanted. Entemoligic exhibits would be interesting if you could see them properly. This museum has a lot of potential even though animals are made of styrofoam if they were just arranged differently (eg by continent or predator-prey relationships). Great to go with kids though, lots of interactive panels (in french).

Wow! This building is amazing inside. Great selection of taxidermy on show.

Fantastic building & exhibits. Friendly & helpful attendants. Not expensive for what is there.

Great place for adults and especially for kids! My son loved it! A must not to be missed.

An amazing surprise, and definitely a place to bring young kids, but not only! Outside, the building has been well renovated. Inside, the history of evolution is easily explained, and you can find a lot of animals of both the sea-world and the savannah. The must is the fact that the museum creates a unique environment, where the weather and the light is controlled randomly, so you can experience a thunderstorm as if you were in Africa...

No explanation/name tags or anything in English. Which is a bit rubbish if you don't speak French but beautiful building and probably very fun and nice if you could read the French.

Very cool museum! The light changes color to simulate day and night and thunderstorms.

€11 euro for a large, dark gallery of specimens. Little English. Good for kids and those who need air conditioning or want to watch videos. The museum of paleontology and comparative anatomy at the other end of the park is much better. Frankly, it's ridiculous that the several related museums around this garden have no combined ticket. To see all of them, you need to shell out about €30, paying separately at each. The greenhouse and mineral display are small and unimpressive, and ENGLISH EXPLANATIONS are lacking throughout.

Great collection, BUT NO ENGLISH (thus the loss of 1 star) - they should offer wifi so non French speaking guests can use translators. It helps if you have some knowledge of evolution so you can decipher the collections(if you can't read the texts). The extinction gallery is worth a look. Still enjoyable though.

An extensive gallery showcasing animals. The hanging dinosaur skeleton is the best I've seen, especially with the elephant in the backdrop: it emphasizes how huge dinosaurs were. At one point while I was in the museum, an artificial storm hits the museum with realistic sounds of rain and visual lightning - it was a very nice touch.

Extraordinary display of the diversity of wild animals, and of the role of humans on saving or destroying them. The building itself is beautiful, and lights and sounds inside are recreating weather changes for even more realism.

I love museums, but I think that this is better than the natural history museum in London, at least the main galleries are. My 5 year old daughter loves the video screen that show videos and interactive information on the exhibits. I just wish more was in English, or I spoke better French (there is some translation)

Great collection of taxidermized animals. The exhibits on evolution are well presented, although the French text isn't always translated in English.
