The man that rented the car to me was so incredibly sweet and patient! And his English was excellent also! It was the best rental car experience I have ever had in any country! It was such a positive experience I will always go to Hertz first for my car rental needs.
To find the rental office exit the train station, take a right, then take another right on the first street you come to and you will see it. I would say it is even less than a 5 min walk.

Had an excellent experience using this Hertz facility to rent a car for the day to explore the area. Getting the car was quick and easy, took about 10 minutes and we were on our way and it's a short 5 minute walk from the train station. Drop off was easy as you just park in on the street next to the facility and drop your key off in the dropbox if you get back past the time they close, which we did. Would recommend if you need to rent a car in Caen.

This location was excellent. The gentleman who helped us for our arrival to pick up a car was great. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. During our drop off, Sarah was incredible. She helped us through the process after having been stuck in traffic as well as rain and a little bit of getting lost. She was so patient with us and we can't thank her enough. She was exceptional and provided the best customer service I've seen in a long time. Thank you!
