The stay at the hotel was absolutely flawless. The hotel staff was so friendly and always helpful. The hotel and services delivered fully at all fronts and often went well above my expectations. There were small details that just elevated the experience to a whole new level. Restaurant is superb, with food so fresh you can feel all of the aromas. Breakfast service is as good, which is often missed. Hope to come back many times.

From the ambiance of the hotel room to the phenomenal service and exquisite food, there is nothing that can compare to the Hostellerie de l'Abbaye de la Celle. Chef Benoit Witz and his staff doing an amazing job with their service and food; from presentation to quality, from style to spot on taste, his food truly is a work of art. You will want for nothing while experiencing your meal. At your very thought someone is there to assist in making this experience one that you'll want to continue to come back to each and every time.

If you want to enjoy a delightful dinner in a very special romantic setting, don't hesitate to stop by the Abbaye de La Celle.
I will always remember the delicious monkfish with a veal based gravy sauce. I tried many times to re-do this with very little success. After all, it is a Ducasse house and up to the standards.

This was a disaster! the welcome cocktail was made with the cheapest fruit juice available on the market ( pampryl ), the food is extremely expensive and absolutely not at the level a place like this should require.The cheese was simply a disaster the waiter introduced the dish this way :" this in a goat cheese, this is another goat cheese, and this is a cow cheese" (we are in a ducasse hotel, nom de dieu!) and the quality was as cheap as the fruit juice. For 28 euros we had an ordinary vegetables dish. We ordered just one but we received two, we told there was a mistake so we wanted to give it back, but the waiter gently told us we could eat it anyway for free. At the end of the meal we found it on the bill, we had to explain the misunderstanding and it was quite embarrassing. After the meal we reached the room. This was the worst disappointment of all our trip. For 340 euros we had a dark and ordinary room ( angelique de champigny ), very far from our idea of a five star hotel. The wifi was broken that day so we had to reach the hall to have an internet connection. At least the bathroom had a beautiful bath tub, so after a beautiful walk in the nature we decided to have a nice bath. I know it sounds a bit too much, but it's absolutely true, NO HOT WATER. I've been to the concierge and they told me that day they had a problem, so we could not even take a hot bath.
All the workers were nice and helpful but i just have the impression this is such a too big deal for them. The day after, at the check out, we did not receive any special apologize or a price reduction or anything else to recover the situation. While i was a student i've been working in the concierge of a 5 star diamond hotel in Rome. The place was not even half beautiful as the Abbaye, but everything worked perfectly, and if there was an incident the guest was a king. This is definitely not the case at the Abbaye de la Celle.
