Eguisheim is a cute, quiet, timbered house town. A good base if you are driving around the area. Limited restaurant and shopping options in town, but plenty in the area.

Nice, clean, relatively quiet hotel in, I suspect, a relatively old building, right off the central square in the small village of Eguisheim. The hotel has have a contemporary feel. Our room was a relatively, for France, spacious "superior". The beds were comfortable. The view was a stone wall and the central square.

Het voelde weer als "thuis komen" alles perfect met een bijzonder kompleet ontbijt..
wij verheugen ons op 25 juli ophef weerzien en genieten.

A few caveats, there is no AC here, they give you a big fan which doesn't help allay the heat much. There is no elevator. Parking is in public lots not far away, 3€/day. Driving thru the winding streets of a tiny village might be difficult for some people, but the village is small. The room we were in had a bathtub that was slippery and difficult to navigate.

Ci ho messo anni per riuscire a trovare una coincidenza tra i miei tempi ed una stanza libera presso questa struttura..... per soggiornare in uno dei miei giri alsaziani. L'hotel non ha tradito le attese.

The relatively new (3 years), charming owners have done a great job on the Hostellerie which I last stayed at perhaps ten years ago. The new room we had (an extension into the house next door) was spacious and comfortable, although I would recommend getting a room overlooking the plaza and castle. A charming little area for a well-stocked buffet breakfast hit the spot. Recommended.

These issues though are common to many hotels in olds buildings in Europe, so I wouldn't "ding" this facility for these issues.

Real tourist trap ! Very expensive for so few services and very little consideration for the customer!
We spend 3 nights and left for an another hotel. We hated our journey because of the owner. The other customer must have not met him during their journey. Hopefully, the other employees were fine.

Bj, il y a 10 mois, ns sommes venu passer un séjour dans votre région que nous ne connaissions pas et ns avons été agréablement accueillis, au centre d'un merveilleux village entouré de vignes, que ne n'avons pas manqué de découvrir ainsi que la gastronomie locale.

I would return to the hotel and area.
