Perfect place!
We had a lovely time in the Hotel Alnea in Cannes, thanks to Cedric and Noemie, they were very friendly and helpful. other member of staff also very helpful. Our room was very clean and well decorated , the hotel was at the perfect place: not far from the train station when we arrived by train (2 minutes walk), near the Palais des Festivals where we had to work for a congress, and near the Croisette and the sea so for next summer when we plan to come back it will be great! Free wifi, good bed and quiet room, good. We highly recommend this hotel.

At last! There aren't much polite French, but gladly there are in this hotel. Service is great, clean rooms, helpfull staff. Big thumbs up for the people that run this hotel! Will come again!

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights in June 2008 while on our month long honeymoon. We really enjoyed our stay. We walked everywhere from here: shopping, restaurants, to the St. Marguerite ferry(ask for discount coupons), it is perfectly located, close to everything. Not too loud, not quiet, but definitely not loud(we stayed the week after the film festival). The owners were very nice and helpful, we were very impressed with their congeniality. We had a private room with private bath and they were both very clean and comfortable. The price is unbeatable! Simply a great place!

I was thrilled with the place, much bigger than expected. The wifi did not work great in the bedroom, but all in all a wonderful space and the people were terrific and so helpful. Highly recommend.

Super hôtel familial !!
J'ai eu l'occasion d'y séjourner 2 jours avec mon ami. L'hôtel est en plein centre ville, et c'est très agréable ! Les chambres sont confortables et très propres.
Les propriétaires sont adorables, et proposent un service de qualité, quant au personnel très professionnel ! La dame qui s'occupe du petit déjeuner, nous a accuillit grand sourir, et la receptionniste nous a guidé dans le choix de nos visites ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !!

The women was so rude to me when I arrived from the U.S. She wanted to charge me an extra night which was a miss understanding all together. I am traveling from the U.S. and there are only few flights to Europe with all the airlines today. The airlines has cut back on flights. You would of thought she would work with me because she was getting 3 nights from me instead we fought over the one night which was a misunderstanding on when I was arriving. They are a small ma and pa Hotel which should be understanding. The first time i spoke to her on the phone she did not pay attention to me and thought I was coming for the film festival which is in May. I told her no I was there for the fabric show Mode de mare. I told her my flight was on the 25th and I arrive the next day which was Thursday. Flights from the U.S. are at night and arrive in the morning. There was a miss understanding on the dates just like when I originally talk to her she thought I was coming for the Film festival. So she wanted to charge me for the extra night and I could not reason with her and she became one Drama Queen. It is business but she took everything personal. Called me an American and said there you go like all americans calling for there lawyers and the police. Her two star Hotel was not booked during that time of the year and she should of worked it out with me with more understanding but today when mistakes are made people become nasty rude and money hungry and they only care about themselves. I go to Cannes ever year and I left her hotel and did not stay there because she would not let me after I had flown all night so there are plenty Hotels at that time of the year and I stayed at lovely Hotel The Americana and I highly recommend this Hotel when you come for a weekend to Cannes. This Hotel the Americana was great and there was good service and they were professional. Not like the Hotel Alnea. Noemie was wearing jeans and the desk she sat at was messy with the trash can full and it looked like the rooms would be that way to. She was not organized nor professional. By the way what you see on the internet is not always what you see in person. The Hotel needs a face lift.
