+ Quiet place. Breakfast is o.k., the most delicious croissants I have ever eaten, but not very good choice of cheese and sausage. Friendly staff.
- Rather far from the city centre. No fridge in the room.

Poor breakfast service, very inconvenient for bigger groups. Rooms were also cold and internet was barely working.

"It's okay" - but only just about. I stayed for three nights and contemplated leaving after the first night. If it wasn't for the fact I pre-paid, I probably would have moved. The room are really very tired and unappealing and the WiFi internet the worst I've ever used (think dial-up speed and divide by 10!), completely unusable for work. I'd say that an extra 20-30 Euro a night, in the centre of Rennes surrounded by bars and restaurants, and most likely a much better WiFi connection, is definitely a price worth paying. Next time. But I can't be completely critical, hence the 3 stars: staff are very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast isn't half bad (fresh breads, pastries, yoghurt, fruit etc). If you're on a budget, it'll suffice, but if you can pay extra, do.

My niece and myself stayed here on our way to Chevanceaux when my clutch went and we hobbled in late in the evening. The staff could not have been more helpful and myself my niece my two dogs and a cat shared a room for the night. I had booked two rooms for us at the Hotel Mecure in Nantes but we didn't make it there. Next morning Etienne help us to locate a towing company who took my car to a garage while we went on our way in the BMW my niece was testdriving. I doubt if we would have had such gracious help in most of your fancy hotels. The room was clean and suitable for our needs and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Very helpful staff, lovely food & pleasant clean room. Close to the University to see my daughter settled & ready for her Erasmus year. Would recommend. Only downside, too many stairs & banister a little shaky!

Hotel a eviter pour les raisons suivantes :
- Pas de connexion internet malgre ce qui est dis dans la description. Debit a moins de 20ko sec donc on ne lis meme pas ses emails. RJ45 inoperent
- Pas de rideaux d'hotel aux fenetres donc lumieres qui rentre jour et nuit parce que la nuit les affiches lumineuses de l hotel et batiments environ flashent les chambres comme en boite de nuit.
- Pas de minibar
- Pas de room service
- Personnes bruiyantes qui parlent fort le matin juste en bas des chambres.
- No mans land. Aucun magazins aux alentours, attention a ne pas mourir de faim et de soif dans votre chambre.
- Pas de prise electrique lampe de chevet

Cheap and cheerful hotel, clean with good food and wine ! Would use again.
