Lovely brasserie style restaurant excellent food with excellent choices. Ideal for a last minute stop before getting on the ferry

Table en véranda au soleil.vue sur phare. Formule midi très bon rapport qualité prix.bonne viande de boeuf. Petite attente pour le service tout juste chaud mais reste agréable.
Serveuse sympa et souriante.

I stayed at the Hôtel du Phare with my husband and friends for 2 nights at the end of August 2014. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who spoke English better than our French.
The rooms were very clean and tidy, the bathrooms were spotless and the beds had clean, fresh bedding that I found was so comfortable after spending the day in a car traveling around Normandy visiting the beaches, Pegasus bridge museum and bunkers from WW2 .
We had an evening meal on both nights, it was of a good standard and was typically French with something different on the specials menu each day.
The breakfast was not included in the price of the hotel but at a reasonable £5 you got a glass of fresh orange juice, coffee, croissant, fresh bread, butter and jams.
We had rooms at the front of the hotel were we enjoyed watching the busy port and canal.
If I ever stay in this area again, I would defiantly stay at this hotel, overall, Good value for money.

This is the second time I have used this place, while waiting for a ferry. The first time was a relaxed event with great food and good service. On the latest visit we were short on time, and I cannot thank the staff enough as they accommodated our needs with good food again in a hurry and they were just shutting.
