Brilliant staff, nice little extras.

Great place close to ferry port if you want to stopover. Good breakfast and nice people at the reception

Really handy hotel for port. 2 mins away. And easy walk to gorgeous Sandy beach that goes for miles. Hotel rooms clean and modern if a little basic. But functional. Breakfast was buffet style and offered good choices.

Functional with no thrills. Terrible breakfast for the price.

The hotel is ok. There's no air conditioning, the doors are not isolating good enough and you can hear each small noise from the floor. There's no way you could connect any device to the tv, because these are mounted too tight on the wall.

Small rooms, poor breakfast, too expensive, staff unfriendly, closed bar early for no reason

Nice enough hotel, but for a place obviously targeting people breaking a journey before or after going on a ferry, not having the restaurant open on weekends is just silly. Arriving after a 9 hour drive, the last thing we wanted was to have to wander into town to find somewhere random.

This is a clean and tidy hotel very handy for the ferry port. It has its own parking and literally takes sixty seconds to get to or fro the terminal. The reception is open late and there was a night porter on duty. The rooms are basic but have enough to get you through a night's stay. Strangely there was no restaurant open in peak August season though some basic snacks were available. There are some other restaurants nearby but they close quite early. The multi tasking staff are very efficient. On the down side breakfast was quite limited and the room expensive for what we got. Though there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room there is a kettle and tea bags in the bar for free use. However this is bizarrely locked away at 11pm every night!

Modest, clean rooms, and welcoming staff. More importantly, Sabrina is/was a life-saver as she wheeled and dealed to get us a taxi and two seats on a D-Day tour with fewer than 12 hours to go...that was fully booked! We don't know how many favors she used but she was professional and got the job done with grace and a beautiful smile. Thank you Sabrina!!! Sextons; Raleigh NC
