But, I would certainly stay here again. We got what we paid for and more. Food was good and not the dire standard that I expect in some chains in England and the service was pleasant. The room suited our needs and we had no issue with it. And breakfast was great.

But it is the touches that are not present in chains in England which I loved. There was a table football set up which we played before bed and in the morning, while my wife and i got the cases ready, the kids played against others as well as making use of the other things available to them. The service was friendly and while this was not on the most pretty of areas, when in the hotel, you would not really be able to tell.

I have to say, that I was not looking forwards to it. I normally search for our destination on Google Maps so I know how to drive there (I do not fully trust Sat-Navs) and the first picture was of a Chateau. Looking at street-view gave a different image, but my wife had taken the time to book it, while I had not so I was grateful we had somewhere to stay.

Receptionist very friendly, and he spoke very good English. The team were accommodating of our needs. Good hotel.

We stayed here when driving south to the Bordeaux region. And I would stay again.

If we stay in Tours again, it may be here once more.

Accomodation good but disappointed because the restaurant was closed on our arrival. We were told that limited food would be available but the quality was very poor. Having travelled for five hours we were not inclined to go out of the hotel to search for a restaurant, as was suggested to us.
