Used a family room on journey from The Dordogne to Calais. Room was ok.....if a little ' tired'. Not completely clean, soap/shower gel empty in shower, and shower leaked more than a rusty sieve. In fact the whole bathroom turned into a wet room. However, for the price (€63 for the room - 2 adults and 2 children) if was fine. Room was spacious - no bunks but twins and a double. There was no A/C in the room....not a problem for us as it wasn't too warm but the room did warm up....would be uncomfortable on a warm evening. Restaurant not open at the weekends for evening food. We had breakfast in the hotel...this was very good. Good buffet selection of hot and cold food. Plenty of tea and coffee...etc. Good value (€9 per adult) All in all a satisfactory if functional stay.

We booked this hotel due to its location and because it had a restaurant so we could eat and relax after a long day spent travelling. We were very disappointed to find that the restaurant was not open on a weekend nor is the bar. The only help we were offered was a map of the town.

Kyriad, c'est une bonne adresse lors des déplacements. Celui-ci ne déroge pas à la règle. Le service est au rendez-vous. La chambre est clean.

Grande amélioration au niveau de la restauration par rapport au précédentes visites quelques années plus tôt,personnel accueillant,chambres correctes,très bonne literie mais certains éléments sont viellissants. Très calme.

Easy to find
Staff very polite and friendly.
Slightly up market compared to Etap, B &. B etc.
Room on ground floor has no security catch to window so not advisable to sleep with window open, making it a bit clostraphobic.
Shower in a bath so not good for elderly people. Bed very comfortable for a French motel. Restaurant in the hotel but closed for bank holiday so no comment on the food served.

Bad smell in room

A very disappointing hotel and one we will never use again


After changing rooms we obtained one suitable for my disabled wife. However, the air conditioning did not work, the shower was broken, there was no bath plug and one of the lamps did not work. The receptionist who was pleasant was a new member of staff and could not help. He had not been trained to sort out the maintenance issues nor apparently to send for assistance.

Close to where I needed to be. Staff friendly food good service good. Rooms clean and tidy
