Don't get fooled by the photos of this place like I did. There is new management, and they are extremely rude, inhospitable, and go so far as shouting at their guests. We were treated like unwelcome house guests. Rooms are shabby, small, and not worth the money. Seriously, stay someplace else.
To summarise our disappointing experience:
- Polite email communication, but once we arrived and didn't speak fluent French (I always start by speaking French out of politeness, but it is a bit rusty), the man at the desk made a rude comment and his attitude cooled considerably.
- We were assured by email that we could charge our electric car, which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel, but we were told on arrival that this was not possible. No effort was made to help us, even when we explained the necessity of it for being able to drive.
- We have a mini dachshund (sausage dog), so not a huge or scary animal by far, and at no point were we told that he could not go into the garden. The male owner burst out of the doors when he saw me in the garden with my dog and yelled at me in front of all the other guests to get him out of there. It was shocking to be threatened, and I spent the rest of the stay in our room - I'm a seasoned traveller and no wall flower, but I did not expect this level of confrontation, humiliation, and verbal abuse.
- Our room was shabby with cheap furniture, not especially clean or comfortable, and the bathroom is cramped and not vented. But there is air conditioning, which is the one plus.
- Wi Fi is non-existent, and, again, the owners didn't seem to care. There were a bunch of people huddled in the lobby with their laptops and tablets trying to get online, and the owners made comments communicating their annoyance with people in that space. Another example of no service provided and guests being treated with disdain.
- Pool is green/dirty, and there is a lot of potential with the garden, but it is not looked after well. Such a shame, as this could be an incredible place.
I felt cheated staying here, as it does not deliver what it promises at all. The owners are clearly out of their depth, and the one consolation is they probably won't be in business for too much longer if they continue to treat their guests in such a deplorable manner. In the meantime, I strongly suggest you find another place to stay. We found La Mere Germaine to be a great restaurant, and they have rooms as well.

Sejour super personnel accueillant sympathique du grande gentillesse . très belle salle de restaurant chambre propre merci à vous tous

A quelques kilomètres de château neuf du pape la sommellerie est un havre de paix. Notre chambre était simple mais cosy avec tout le confort nécessaire. Accès direct à la piscine par un escalier. (Début novembre nous n'avons pas pu en profiter )
Le dîner du soir était compris dans notre offre Groupon. Simple mais suffisant. En ce qui conserve le vin servi dans le grand verre il suffit de demander pourquoi et il n'y a pas de quoi est choquer ! ( confère l'avis négatif d'un client )
Le point fort le petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité.
Une très bonne note pour le personnel charmant ainsi que les propriétaires.

Sans plus, en rapport du prix je n'y retournerais pas!
Si vous aimez le canard sec et beaucoup trop cuit c'est sans moi.
J'ai jamais vu servir le vin dans le grand verre?

למרות ההמלצות ועובדת היות המסעדה מלאה בסועדים מקומיים, זו היתה אחת הארוחות הגרועות שאכלנו בצרפת ובכלל. אוכל נטול טעמים, חסר השראה, פשוט לא טעים. מנת הדג היתה מהגרועות שאכלנו, אנטרקוט שהוזמן בדרגת מדיום הגיע וול דאן. ראשונות סתמיות, עיקריות גרועות. תפריט שנלקח משנות השמונים. מיושן, מתאמץ, בין סתמי לגרוע.

Pitoyable ! De la moisissure partout dans la douche. Les chambres et repas ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur du prix. Je déconseille fortement !!

Super accueil. Bel hôtel dans l'esprit provençal avec une bonne table et une carte des vins bien garnie.
