This is an old hotel but it is lovely, quaint and well situated in Chinon. No tea/coffee facilities though. However, I would definitely go back.

Un certain nombre de chambres ne valent pas 3 étoiles et quand on demande à changer de chambre il se fait en même temps que un changement de tarif qui passe du simple au double sans même nous prévenir.Decu je ne reviendrai pas un ibis et la gamme au dessus.

Slow Internet. Strange 5 second buzzing every 5 minutes from above the suspended ceiling in the bathroom (I think we were in room 144). I am a heavy sleeper but it would be impossible for some.

This is a wonderful hotel in every respect. It is well located in the town with free car parking in the square opposite.
The rooms are well appointed and excellent value for money.
The garden is delightful and the breakfasts are plentiful and beautifully presented - much better than corporate hotel chains. You get personal service from the charming staff who all speak excellent english and cannot do enough to help you. The bistro next door is owned by the same proprietor and serves superb meals at affordable prices. There is nothing to fault whatsoever and the hotel is to be thoroughty recommended if you are in the area.

Chambres pratiques ! Étonnement on n'entend pas les bruits extérieurs. Super accueil et petit-déjeuner copieux et bon.
