Nice and cosy hotel

We were delayed on arrival to the hotel.
We called the hotel to make them aware of this. They say: “no problem, please update us before 22:00”.
Fine. We start calling them at 21:45 and for 5 times they don’t answer. What do you do then? We decided to sleep in a hotel in the mountains.
The day after we get to the hotel and guess what: they wanted the money for the previous night anyway. Far out.. and ridiculous: the employee understood the situation but the owner of the place got upset and kept on screaming to everybody. French comedy.
And when we finally got to the room: lukewarm water and a lot of noise from the courtyard.
I am sorry that the system forces me to give 1 star... I would give none.

The prices are good for Nice and for the type of rooms. This family run hotel is located in walking distance from the old town, the shopping district and the train station.
Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Only negative point is that the rooms are not very sound proof.

I loved this hotel. It was friendly, welcoming and nicely situated near the old part of the city. What attracted me to this hotel was that it looked, (from the photos) stylish, very French and it lived up to that. It was very clean and decorated well. I would recommend this to friends, family and I will definitely go back there.

The room was like a prison, it smelt and there was no where to put your suit case. The cloths cupboard was unusable so to was the safe in the cupboard. The bathroom had a window but when opened it was the indie of the building with air con motors and really smelt. the view out our window was a side allay with bins and you heard every little sound. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Old Style Hotel. Camera ampia e ampio anche il bagno. Dotazioni complete, aria condizionata, wi fi altalenante ma presente. Vicinissimo al vero centro di Nizza, a ridosso di qualche via non proprio ben frequentata.
