Decided to book here despite varying reviews, but to my pleasant surprise I had a surprisingly nice stay. The hotel staff at the check in was friendly and helpful. The room I had was behind the reception and newly renovated. The room was small, functional and clean, the hotel also provides bottles of water which is a plus considering the prices at the shops (€2.70 for 500ml). However, there is no WiFi in the rooms. Would recommend staying here for the budget conscious traveller.

Dealing with this hotel feels like you are dealing with a large beaucracy; inflexible, stiff and unfriendly. We woke to loud voices of staff - pretty ordinary

I found this place on the internet as one of the cheapest hotels inside Mt Saint Michael. The actual room is in the building behind the main reception building up several flights of stairs. The receptionist is very helpful. Room is clean and functional. Overall this hotel provides excellent value. I would recommend this hotel to any budget conscious traveler.
