1. No way that A/C works. It was rather stuffy in my room.
2. There was a door stop next to the toilet. Many nights I wound up stubbing my toe on that thing.
3. The bed and sheets. Two twins put together to make a queen was not very comfortable. The sheets were also very rough.
4. The bathroom was poorly lit. In the morning I could barely see! It was difficult to shave with how dark it was.
5. The dinners were okay but they were very overpriced. I could walk next door to the Ibis Styles and get a better meal for much cheaper. The wine selection isn't up to snuff for the price. For what you pay you can go to Danton or Petit Ogre for much cheaper and get MUCH better food and wine.

Mr. Pierre, the night manager, was kind enough to get me some fruits and water bottles so I can eat something before I fast for my Ramadan day in Lyon. All the grocery stores were closed so he made an effort to see what he can do. He also got me a converter for my charger, for free while I stayed at the hotel. This type of service is hard to find and I think this effort speaks volume.

I will give two positives.
1. Right next to the train station and the rooms are quiet.
2. Breakfast is good.

Nice hotel - nice room - ideally located for travel

The hotel rooms are very nice as you can tell from the pictures, quite spacious and lovely setup. I liked the toilet separated from the shower room, and the toiletry is quite nice as well. Conveniently located near the train station and in a very safe area.

Parking garage system extremely confusing. Hidden in a shady alleyway that leads to a free entrance. Shady neighborhood with people on bikes that won't get out of the way. Parking elevators are confusing and don't lead directly to the hotel. Reception staff fighting with us. Staff do not admit mistake of not explaining the directions right. Hotel has okay looks but looks may be deceiving. Bathroom shower separate from the rest of the bathroom. Exit of the parking elevators must be by holding a button and opening the door(very old and inefficient). Entrance to parking garage gate opened by pressing button out of reach from car. Sent my son to go press it and tookv30 seconds for the gate to open... SLOWLY. Would like a much better entrance to the garage and with some English please. Most signs display in French; no other languages.
