Based on the following o have to revise my rating from otherwise a good experience. On day of departure we had left a top of my partner in the cupboard. We checked out 1100 a bit more hastily due to a fire alarm sound that ran a bit long to be a test. Once in the new destination we rang the staff to inform them. Nothing was handed in. Since Things cannot disappear we rang again the next day and send a foto of the item. Still nothing was handed in. the next day we rang again and the front desk informed us that the foto had arrived and was shown to the housekeeper. Still nothing was found.
So what happened between us leaving the room and new guests checking in?

Nice rooms, a little small but enough for a couple. Cute windows and great location, highly recommended.

The location in which this hotel is located is an amazing medieval city-castle. The rooms are clean, modern and full of luxury and the breakfast was completely delicious. The service is delightfull. I'll come back to this hotel if I come back to Avignon. I think is the best hotel in the city and close to the monuments and remarkable places.

Everything was OK but the access from/to the parking lot, a long way of corners and stairs up and down. An issue if you take heavy luggage with you. The hotel room was a bit small, but the personnel were always willing to help. The hotel main hall smelled really good. The location within the city walls is just as convenient as it gets. Overall a fairly good hotel for its price.

Perfect location with parking (extra pay), silent modern room, silente And inside The center of Avignon, perfect for visit it!

Nice hotel close to the monuments and remarkable places of this wonderful city. The rooms are clean and the service it's ok. The breakfast is amazing, I recommend this hotel.

Just OK. The toilet in the “closet” is a deal breaker for me. But that’s me. Other parts of the hotel are long in the tooth.

If it had not been for that. Great Location and good breakfast. Avoid room near elevator as very noisy. This is a touristy place and people don't have any regard while waiting for the lift And this will apply to any place of course not just this hotel.
