Arrived off-season and very late at night, just before closing and with a small group of fellow students. The staff was accommodating of our mixed group however I did pretend to be dating one of the girls in our group so that we all could be roomed together as she did not feel safe by herself. Yes, the rooms are small and simple but it appears that work has happened since our visit.
The bar was full of locals and some tourists which made for a loud night and may have made my "girlfriend" uncomfortable. Arrived too late for any food and left very early to beat the crowds to Mont Saint-Michel to which this location provides a close and cheap night. Rooms= 2 star, Location= 4, Staff= 3, Avg.= 3

Feels more like a 3 star hotel, the food is not great but okay, for example , the steak that I ordered was kind of raw but ill forgive them for that. Furthermore the rooms were, while a little noisy, still comfortable and clean. The service is more like what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel. Overall its a nice little place to stay the night and I'd give it a 3.5/5.

Simple country hotel, 2-star rating is probably accurate. Beds are a bit hard,
not much in the rooms. However, great location (right on the main road to Mont Saint Michel) and a very good breakfast partly make up for that. Downstairs bar serves excellent cappuccino and calvados, which helped us pass a few hours of bad weather. On a side note: most restaurants in the vicinity close at 9 pm, so you have to plan your evening accordingly.

Rooms are comfortable but a bit dated, €60 per night. Wi-Fi is terrible. Dinner is mediocre but portions are small for the price. Salad consists of lettuce and a few pieces of tomato. €8 for a pint which is ridiculous. Staff were nice but overworked on a busy night with only 2 floor staff. Would not stay again.

If I could rate this establishment with minus stars I would!!

We stopped at this restaurant after a long trip from La Rochelle en route to Cherbourg, with our two small children (5 years and 2 years). We were hoping to have something to eat but a pleasant young waiter informed us that unfortunately the kitchen was closed, which we understood as it was early evening. We requested to use the toilet facilities for our small children and the manager interupted and told us, "no, c'est fini", we assumed the owner/manager did not understand what we were saying so we asked again,(albeit in broken French), to use the toilets facilities for our small children. We were in total disbelief that again we were refused in a very rude, disgusting and totally uncalled for manner and no alternative option provided, before he disappeared back into the kitchen!

Hôtel sympathique avec un accueil très chaleureux , Prix convenable la literie est bonne , cependant petit bémol pour la qualité des chambres à revoir peinture a refaire ,

We had come out of our way to visit Mont St Michele and to be honest it totally ruined our visit. This man obviously switched off the charm when he realised he wasn't going to make any financial gain from us.. unbelievable!

Very nice an clean place to be. Not that elegant but honest an worth. Don't miss the walk by the river and the grocery store near by.

Great local cuisine very reasonable and full of happy customers. Really enjoyed our food with lovely friendly family staff

Bon resto, tradi, simple mais BON. Pas évident de trouver un resto de cette qualité si proche du Mont saint Michel. Je recommande!
