Friendly reception and great staff and tasty food in the restaurant. Have been going here for 20 years and is my first choice in calais.

This has been the worst hotel we have ever been. Please reconsider your stay here. Our car was robbed overnight in the hotel parking, with a broken window and several stolen belongings. The next morning when we communicated it to the hotel employees, they ignored us, and just looked at each other and smiled.
They did not even come to the parking to see what happened, and they only offered us a brush to pick up the glass. Then it was when we realized that there were more glass from other cars, and when we asked the employees again they told us it happened from time to time.
Staff very unprofessional and without any respect for customers.

The bar is the nicest part of the hotel, as the rooms smelt of stale smoke.

Worst hotel ever.......upon arrival we were put in the adjoining building 'hotel do golf' not hotel De la plage as booked. The rooms were dirty, dated and the bed was a very uncomfortable fold away camp bed, there was also sand in the bed. Breakfast was 7-11am when we arrived at 8am we had to ask if there was any crossiants left only to be told they had run out and also no plates. Not much to choose from at breakfast either. Staff are so rude and dont want to help. The hotel is in need of a major refurb!!!

Great stopover for the tunnel or ferry.
Cheap accommodation great food.

Great little hotel, dog friendly, good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, cheaper to book direct with the hotel than a booking site.
Take your own teabags, only enough for two cups

Stayed here on the way home from Normandy the room was small and dated but the service and the food was great I would stay here again
