Breakfasts are available at the hotel next door for €5 (at the time of writing).

Simple and low standard hotel. The personnel is friendly but not very passionate at their job. The rooms are clean but very old and ugly. The were no blankets just the coating and some sort of table cloth as replacement. The were no toilets in the room but on the floor and they were filthy. All in all it was ok for one or two nights but I wouldn't recommend it to stay there any longer.

Our weekend in beautiful Paris was made much more enjoyable with our stay at Hotel Richard. The mini break was rather last minute and luckily we found affordable accommodation which suited our needs for the trip in Hotel Richard. For those that want to stay in central Paris that want to sightsee etc it is ideally situated with close access to the metro, coffee shops and eateries.

For a French budget hotel, you can't do a lot better. Rooms are clean; common areas are maintained; access is 24 hours; quiet street; prices are very competitive, and the beds are comfy.

If you're going for sightseeing etc and take it for what it is the Hotel accommodation is good as it's price reflects. Shared toilet bathroom is likely unless lucky with availability,

There wasnt receptionist when we arrived but cleaning lady was very helpful. Staff didn't speak too much english but enough to deal with them. Our room was like described but sounds of traffic were loud and water pressure in a shower was bad. Otherwise good place and I recommend if you want just cheap place to sleep.

The rooms here are very minimalistic. Most of the staff speak English, which is a plus. Very close to the metro, laundromat, super market, cafe etc. (2 min walk at most). Clean and affordable.

clean rooms and easy access. just 2 minutes from voltaire metro station. very polite staff. best of all, shower included in your own room at lowest prices.

Staff are knowledgeable about the local area and helpful, and willing to help you when your French is as appalling as mine. A word to the wise: the French for 'suitcase' is NOT 'casse'. This substitution is unhelpful in the extreme.

That's cheap for its location but it's the only advantage.
The room is literally only one room (lucky the toilet has its own door). The sink is in the room, exit from shower is directly to the room.
No cleaning except for emptying trash bin. For 5 nights we stayed we had no change of towels of bed staff, no value cleaning. So if you manage to bring some dirt to the room, it will stay there till your check-out.
Mattress on bed was wrapped in plastic bag so it produced irritating crunching sound every time you turn in bed.
