This boutique hotel is located in the center of the old city, which makes much of what you came to see accessible on foot. The chateau, old square, and best eateries and cafes are all within a few minutes walk. As for anything that requires transport, the lovely couple who run the hotel (Regis and Brigitte) will arrange it for you, including a taxi ride to/from the train station if required. The hotel itself is a boutique property that is charming, elegant, and affordable. There is an optional continental breakfast to get you moving in the mornings, and the quaint hotel bar stocks an impressive selection of single malt whiskies and local specialties. Creature comforts such as full climate control, plenty of hot water, and WiFi ensure that no matter what time of year you come, your stay always will be enjoyable.

One of the best hotels that we have stayed in over 30 years of travel.
This stay was over 30 days the owners and thier team were always available and the the word NO was not in thier vocabulary.
Our suite was very elegant and warm we could not wait to return at the end of each day.
We will definitely recommend this property to our friends.

I love my stay in Saumur. The town is charming and beautiful. We were in town for the Anjou velo vintage, an annual vintage biking festival they hold. The hotel room was nice and had everything we needed. The location is right by St. Pierre cathedral and plaza, a lively area of the town with many nice shops.
