We didn't choose this hotel, but instead got it as a secret hotel on Hotwire....I would never recommend Hotwire to anyone. We could have got the same exact rate through the hotel, but that included breakfast. No fault of the hotel, but worth mentioning. The hotel itself was nice, nothing special, but the staff was nice and the rooms were clean. The pillows were terrible though, old and lumpy. Also, the location is really not in "Saint Germain", it's in a business area away from anything touristy. We asked the night staff for ice and restaurant recommendations, and they had neither, unfortunately. We wanted to chill a bottle of wine in our room but weren't able to do it....the last night they did offer to put it in their fridge for us though. You must try the little bakery around the corner! FANTASTIC and well priced! We ate there every morning and it was under 8 euro for both of us to have huge pastries and cafe americanos. The ladies were great, they didn't speak English at all, but were willing to help us with our very little French and a lot of pointing. :-) We also ate lunch there twice, it was that good! That's actually where the hotel had their breads delivered from too! Also try the small bistro right across the street from the bakery...again, no English, but the best dinner we had in Paris! Ok, back to the hotel...location was ok, not really central to anything, but also not really far from anything. We walked pretty much everywhere. Paris is very much a walking town and absolutely beautiful! It was chilly, but quite pleasant to walk in. Overall it was a good hotel and an ok location, but I'm not sure I would choose to stay there if we return to Paris.

Beautiful room in a great location at a fair rate. Would stay here again.

Smelly room, my suitcase still stinks. Wifi too slow, breakfast is a joke. No outlet to charge your phone. In summary: Overpriced and out-of-date.

Poor service, poor facility. One staff was friendly but the rest were rude. Will never go back again. Forget about fridge and microwave, it does not even have a simple coffee machine.

wifi was only available in the lobby

Nice atmosphere, but the facilities are some sort of out-dated

Please be advised that pics are not true, as the servise is mediocre, we had a very bad experience there and advise not to stay there.

My daughter and I stayed here several years ago and had a great experience. Although our room was not fancy, it was clean and had a nice view of the courtyard below. The people at the desk spoke limited English but were always willing to give us directions and even drew little maps for us. One even gave us mini French lessons everyday! We thought it was in a very convenient location for most of the major sights. Nice that it was few blocks up from Musee d'Orsay because it was quiet. Wonderful bakery close by where we had a pastry and coffee everyday. We had an amazing trip! I recommend it as a fairly priced hotel with a very French flavor!
