Kind of sad to see all the big tombs and beautiful places, to then end up at this rather depressing grave with fences around it. There's been too many people here, and it's been ruined.

I last came here about 15 years ago before my visit this week. It's a a bit depressing to see the state of it now - I was sad the first time I came and realised his bust had been stolen, but actually it was still better than it is now. You used to be able to go right up to it, now there's a crappy old bit of fencing around it and the stone is all chipped. There were only 2 other people there and it made me feel like everyone's forgotten about him :-(

Wonderful walk in the cemetery, quite relaxing with many old tombs and graves to explore. However, the grave of Jim Morrison has been fenced off and is rather unimpressive compared to some of the splendourous memoirs that surround it. Still worth a visit.

Grave Robbers; Shame On You! You've ruined his resting place for everyone else! His headstone is not there anymore and there are gates around his grave so you can't get close. Shame on those who have chipped away pieces of his resting area! Not that I know, but I don't think Jim would have wanted his headstone taken away, nor have his tomb be chipped away at by fans. Pictures and his music and words is what he left behind for everyone and his resting place is being desecrated. Shame on you all, you know who you are.

Definitely worth the trip. There is a barrier around the grave so you can only see it from several meters away.

One of the most visited sites at Pere Lachaise, JM's grave is a must see for any music lover...

Beautiful cemitary, just wow. You can get lost easily there so take a pic of the map in front or use your gps.

This grave yard is beautiful. Rothchild, Oscar wild and even Jim Morrison. It was sad how vandalized everything was around Jim's grave but what an experience to see it.

Not much there, a rather sad tomb. The whole cemetery around it offers a lot of more interesting places to see.
