Both the service and the food at this restaurant are terrible. The staff were incredibly unwelcoming - our waiter completely abandoned us after my mother decided not to order anything because they had run out of most of their dishes. The food itself was very average, when it arrived it was lukewarm and tasted like a supermarket bought readymade meal. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this restaurant.

Delicious food! The lady working there was SO kind and friendly. She gave us extra naan and nice citrus drinks that were complimentary. She spoke good English and was really fun to chat with! GO HERE!!!!!!

Reasonable food, very talkative staff.

worst experience for dinner. being an indian, i know naan is served along the plât (main course), and even in the menu its nowhere seen in the "entrées". But are served half an hour before starters/maincourse. "entrée" poulet tandoori served along with the main course, it was burnt, stale, foul smelling piece of "cuisse du poulet", authentically it is served with salad, indian sauces and lemon, but they serve with a few small chunks of lettuce. we ordred baigan bhartha (an indian ratatouille which is a dish based on aubergines), and owner had the audacity to serve us the same without aubergines. i asked for cancellation immediately. unable to bear the stinky poulet tandoori, we returned. she replaced that with another main course which was expensive than the poulet tandoori. technically, if they replace something for being bad, the owner should charge the amount of original dish, but she made us pay the price of replaced dish. riz pulao were just a touch of rice in a pool of oil. so, not recommended at all (esp. if you are indian)

good service, but really bad food! The entrées were recommended by the host. Really bad and stale chicken. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Worst tikka masala I ever had.

Funny how non Indians are claiming this place serves authentic Indian food. Had palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, yellow dal, garlic naan and plain rice. Only thing I was able to recognise was the plain rice. Everything else caused me to have a question mark expression on my face not only on seeing the dish but also after tasting it.

A great evening spent in an authentic Indian restaurant. The food was tasty and a good value for its money. The warm welcome only made the meal all the more memorable, especially considering the size of the meals

I basically agree with all the people that have rated this one or two stars here. The lady is way too talkative and frankly made me less at ease ! She insisted quite strongly that I write review or sign the guestbook. The place is gloomy, doesn't feel well-maintained and decor way too shabby / tired. Food and service slow but more importantly, it doesn't taste fresh! The chicken I ordered was funny tasting so I'm staying await from this place as I think they cut corners here. Unfortunately the free welcome drink couldn't compensate for this very shoddy restaurant which puts a bad name to Bengali and Indian food.

Terrible owner. Pretends to not understand the order and proposes to order way more than an individual can possibly eat.
