We went to restaurants from Avignon to Monoco, and this was the best one. We went back five times. The food was wonderful. The best was the salt and egg white encrusted whole fish. Contrary to the earlier review, we tried to duplicate the same wine (cote rotie) in Chicago and the same meal and paid twice as much -- with no view and without the kindness of the chef and his wife who runs the place. We could eat there every night and hope to return soon. Robby and Anne Robertson

Great food with lots of fish and seafood options at a fair price if you opt for the menu gourmand. Wine prices are a bit steep though. And the interior design certainly isn’t a highlight. And it’s exclusively visited by tourists. But that’s all pointless moaning: it’s delicious.

Terribly poor service. The staff is so rude we had a bad time. Never again.

The family run fantastic restaurant was unpretentious, extremely well run, and the food was a joy. The veal, the whole sea bass roasted in salt, the trio of fish tartare, the presentation, the desserts, and the uncompromising details. Would I go again (and again)? Of course!

Accueil sec et mauvaises tables pour les non-habitués. Cuisine inutilement compliquée qui empile les goûts mais sans logique.
Cher pour ce que c'est : il y a vraiment mieux dans la région, car le côté touristique de Bonnieux génère ce genre de dérive.

Why did I like this place? Pretty simple: the food and experience was excellent during the lunch and dinner that we dined this time in Provence. I could go into great detail about each of the dishes and courses we had - but it would sound like I was gloating.
