A small restaurant with a short menu of locally inspired items. Great food cooked with passion. Very accomodating hosts, as we arrived quite late in the evening.

I'll be going back to the Auberge again next time I'm in Sete.

Excellent food, easily some of the best I've had in Sète. We had the carpaccio and the salmon gravadlax to start (gravadlax was pretty special), followed by the moules marininieres and the macoranade. The macoranade was really the show stopper for me, a mountain of pasta with a very tender meaty stew filled with sausage, pork belly and mince. Alas, no room for dessert!

The tournedos Rossini was amazing. The magret de canard, is cured by the chef who prepares all his dishes himself.

Both the lady waiting on us (the chef's wife?) and the chef were extremely friendly and welcoming, obviously passionate about their business and the experience they provide their customers.

Excellent, the chef and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was wonderful and thoughtful. The passion of the chef shines through in the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered three different 'nos plats' and we all enjoyed each one. Some of the seafood was pulled out of the sea just blocks away.

Ravis de ce petit restaurant dans une petite rue de sète. Accueil très agréable,punch très bon, un loup frais et bien cuisiné, une macaronade délicieuse, que du fait maison jusqu'aux desserts et les assiettes sont très copieuses. café gourmand bien présenté et varié, pana cotta caramel, mousse au chocolat maison, salade de fruits frais, le tout frais et maison ce qui est de plus en plus rare....Car beaucoup de pièges à touristes...Les propriétaires sont très agréables, vraiment une adresse à garder pour bien manger.

When asked about the beef, the chef will happily show a picture of the cows at the farm where he gets the meat, explaining how the farmer feeds them with hay produced on the same farm.

We went to this small but lovely restaurant with some of our friends. The chef and his wife were very kind and explained all of the menu to us since it was in French and we weren't that good French speakers. The atmosphere was warm and romantic and the service was good.
But most important of all, the food were veryyyy delicious! I had trout with almonds which was very tasty. My friend had duck and he told me that although all of our dishes were very delicious, the duck was a in another league! The prices were reasonable as well (a soup + the main dish + the dessert was only 22 Euros).
Just one small attention: if you are vegeterian, there are not many choices for you. There are some salads but that's it!
In summary, we all loved the restaurant and recommend it to everyone that happen to visit Sete.
