L'Enoteca was recommended by the clerk in a Marais wine shop. She was right. Top notch Italian food in a comfortable setting. Excellent service. Go.

It won't blow you away, so don't expect some awesome dinner. BUT what I like about this place is that it's way casual and a great place to come here with a friend to enjoy a simple dinner and have a fun conversation. Nothing serious, it can't always be a serious dinning experience and that's a-ok. This place is perfect for that.

I love Berthillon! This is the most amazing ice cream anywhere, and you don't want to miss it. Portions are small by American standards, but they just pack more flavor into a more sensible size. And the location can't be beat. It's just down the street from the apartment I stayed in on my last trip on Ile St. Louis.

From the start it seemed like they were not happy to see us. Maybe they don't like couples, maybe they were in a bad mood? And then it went from bad to worse, we both felt like they were in a hurry and we were making them lose their time with our silly requests for bread or other questions...
When you see the prices they charge, you could expect a little more from the service. I definitely won't go again.

The price is right for this place. Not bad, but I won't be stopping here again when I return. If you're staying at the hotel down the street this place will work fine.

I red so many good reviews on this place that we decided to give it a try. We were truly disappointed. The service is very poor, the waiters are very snob (not adapted to an Italian restaurant!), almost as if they were annoyed we were there! We ordered the raviolis and they were too "al dente" almost non cooked. I do not recommend this place. Not far from there, is a really great Italian restaurant called Caruso if you are looking for something in the area.
