Waited half an hour for first course which was paté on toast. Inattentive and slow service. Wanted the 3 course deal, but the waiter sold us 3 scoops of ice cream instead of 2 for dessert which voided the deal and we had to pay more. Awful, don't go.

A great evening out. Awesome service. Large portions for a reasonable price. We had the €14.50 menu. Look foward to going back :)

Maybe the other plates are good, but the tartare is not. Minced meat instead of finely cut with knife. Al the ingredients come separated and you have to mix them yourself. As all this was not bad enough, the French fries are not home made, they are of the frozen bag type you buy in supermarkets.

Mostly if not all packaged food. High turnover restaurant with attractive headline prices to lure people in. Desert probably the best course.

I don't know how I could stop here for dinner, me stupid!!! The location is freat, the place is very beautiful. A very beautiful waitress is inviting you to get in, the price of the menu is good... but when the food arrives, you have to face the sad reality!!! the food is terrible everything is frozen, nothing is fresh... it's like eating inside the supermarket! Never again in my life.
Be careful to tricks: they try to bring more things than you ordered, to make you pay more!!
I feel even more stupid because there much better places in the street just round the corner :-(

They were more flexible about adding a vegetarian option to the set menu but I can't speak for the quality.

Indifferent service and mediocre food. Nice location and the set menu is rather cheap.

Terrible service. Food was frozen. I am currently on my 35min waiting for deserts with everyone falling asleep at table. P.s. i think i have food poisoning.

Nice and respite from the heat. Nice interior. Lights especially. We had share plates. Large but not so special. Good location in a square. Bordeaux is well set up for pedestrian only traffic. Nice place.

I showed up late after everyone else had ordered. The group all wanted to order fish before my arrival, which the waitress said wasn't available. Good bless that waitress, because I didn't know this and ordered fish from a different waiter taking my order. That fish should not have been allowed to leave the kitchen : it was way overcooked and the potato was so undercooked it was still solid!

Well we can't work out where everyone else was eating. We had two lovely visits here on the last weekend of November. Saturday night - it was busy but the staff were friendly and the food was great (pâté de foie gras and onion soup, then a couple of amazing desserts) plus a glass of Château Lynch Bages wine). Then Sunday lunch - staff really welcoming , excellent food.

The service was good (which means very fast for France) and the wait staff all spoke English very well which should be expected since this is a very touristy part of town.

We left after our drinks because we hoped to have mussels for our last night in Bordeaux and they were all out. This would have been fine but they didn't tell us 3 for at least 20mins after we sat down, at which point we decided to leave.

All of the other dishes were good - fish pot, foe gras, steak, escargot.
