A French restaurant for french people and their guests, Very French

Always great

Would happily return.

It's a bistro atmosphere, crowded and noisy-a typical French bistro ambience.

Well executed, value priced, competently served meal. Menu was fairly typical southern French.
I had a pork chop, mashed potatoes with olives. My wife a beef salad with hard cheese. Her frites were perfect-crisp in the outside and not oily. Dessert was a cup of strawberries in a liquor flavored syrup. There was an interesting tuna burger special we eyed, but didn't order. Serving sizes were relatively large.

The surprise find of our foodie trip to France.
We were shut out of the place across the street so we ended up here.

Authentic, original, fresh, delicious.... we enjoyed the goat cheese salad and ravioli appetizers.... they were both incredible, and we ended up sharing both. We each wanted a steak tartare - so we both happily ordered our own plates for the entree, and it was one of the best we had had while in France. She got the Tarte Tatin, which was particularly infuriating as she has been trying to get the caramelization on the pears and crumbly crust just how they had it. I had the creme brulee, which was fantastic. Incredible place, wonderful value, and we will be back!

Nice place and service. Menu remarks are funny. We managed to have holiday menu - thus deer steak was available. Fois gras home made is delicious. Alcohol is served at a very low price Kir Royale was very tasty.
