Good shaded site for cyclists or ramblers and not too expensive. €12.50 p/night 2017. Facilities 8:10 and excellent restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Could use some benches or tables for use by cyclists etc and would be good to be able to get a beer or other drink in the daytime. Very close to town though and Community Pool next door. Would stay again.

Madam at reception extremely unfriendly (first I France for one week). Price for 2 persons with e-bikes and one tent much too high; we paid 23 Euros (compared to 10 to 15 on all other French sites). Taking €3,70 for loading e-bike batteries (approx. 30 cents) is not acceptable. Place ok but nothing special. Bathrooms too small. Definitely no recommendation.

Stayed for a night as cyclists and the site was well kept, had a really nice unique feeling that was relaxed and welcoming.

Will be here again next year, but more days

Camping aan de Loire, staanplaatsen met zicht op de Loire helaas zonder stroom aansluiting of je met een hele lange kabel hebben.
Wat verouderd sanitair, maar wel schoon

I'd have given this place a 4.3.. playground for kids, Loire at the back, u can order baguettes at reception for the next morning (like at most campsites in France), swimming pool, good sanitary conditions in washrooms, etc. But earned this place 5 Stars (or 6) is the small restaurant inside the camp. The service was exemplary, the prices were good and food delicious. Would come again (and eat) :P

A campsite beside the Loire, but the river is not really visible from most of the pitches. Pitches vary in size; some have shade. There is little separating one pitch from the next. The roadways are rather narrow and uneven. The sanitary facilities are clean but basic.
