Sehr schön hergerichtetes, altes Gutshaus. Ein toller Park indem unsere Hunde überall herum toben konnten. Originell eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr französisch .

hotel unique. le parc est magnifique, décoration actuelle et soignée. Nicole est tres accueillante. A recommander!

Cadre atypique dans un vieux manoir mais sympathique. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit mais le parc autour de la maison principale, les terrasses pour prendre le petit déjeuner, les salons... Ont l'air vraiment très bien!

La Gabatiere is an oasis in so many ways. It is separated both physically and audibly from the nearby roads. The grounds are large and the buildings are creatively placed. "La Gabatiere" means "the place of laughing," and this is especially found in the character of the proprietress. M. Robertson speaks wonderful English, be assured. The beds are splendid, the rooms of this 16th century estate are quiet. Your breakfast is diverse and exquisite, and there is an excellent restaurant (la Quarre de cuisiniers), about two miles back towards Vienne...full of locals and wonderful food. You will not want to leave...

Very nice Hotel and super nice staff! The only negative is that they serve a continental breakfast but in France this is apparently common.

Le lieu est plein de charme, c'est très appréciable.
Mais mon lit grinçait dès que je me retournais dans mon lit, ce qui me réveillait dès que je bougeais, c'est vraiment dommage!
