For the wifi you had to get a slip from Reception for each individual device used (phone, Kindle, tablet, laptop - for each of you) as there was an individual device log in and password. Slightly fiddly.

At €89 it was a little more expensive than similarly rated hotels in the area, and the breakfast at €13 a head certainly was expensive. We had heard that it was a full-blown affair, and after the generous evening meal the night before didn't think we could do it justice,.so just nibbled the biscuits from the room instead.

Quite near the motorway and Tours, this is an excellent stop over on the way south if you arrive at Ouistreham-Caen with Brittany ferries.

Le changement récent de propriétaire n'a pas changé notre opinion : rapport qualité prix excellent et perspectives réjouissantes pour le futur proche. Bon sang ne saurait mentir ! Dans le mieux, une légèreté plus subtile dans la cuisine grâce à Olivier Loire et un service plus jovial tout en restant parfait supervisé par son épouse.
Bref un restaurant ou on se sent bien, assuré de poser une bonne soirée dans notre cas : merci !

Hôtel sympatrique et confortable.
Restauration fine et goûteuse, petit déjeuner à la française copieux et bon.
Endroit reposant bon étape pour la visite des châteaux de la Loire avec du charme et un accueil qui est bien loin des usines à touristes.
Table très convoitée, penser à réserver le repas dès l'arrivé à l'hôtel.

Quelle belle surprise ! Accueil sympathique, décoration raffinée des chambres et de la salle de restaurant. Les menus sont alléchants et les plats succulents.

It's a Relais du Silence hotel, and was certainly quiet - there was double glazing in the modernised traditional building in which we slept, and also double doors from the landing.

Il n'y a rien à redire. C'est forcément un petit budget pour venir manger la, mais ca en vaut la peine. Les plats sont excellents, les employés sont aux petits soins, les produits frais et de qualité. On s'y retrouve en quantité dans l'assiette. L'endroit est calme et agréable, et le service est raffiné sans trop en faire. je recommande vivement.

Très bel établissement. Personnel aimable et sympathique. Repas raffiné à recommander. Chambre confortable et très propre.

A very well fitted bathroom with electric shower, nice toiletries, hair dryer, tissues, good toilet tissue and a magnifying mirror as well as a standard one above the wash basin. Nice fluffy towels.

Worth returning here.

Overall good, but no mirror in the bedroom meant that while person 1 was showering or using the lavatory, person 2 couldn't put on her make-up (or vice-versa!), and there was no way of checking your full-length appearance before sweeping down to dinner in the attractive adjoining restaurant.
