Bad service, expensive and very slow. We took the menu for 36€. Oysters as a starter, they were pretty average... It took 40 mins after to get the main courses I took the dorade entiere as a main course and it was terrible, rather small over cooked and tasteless! My friend took the tataki de thon which was normal. Finally we took the profiterol for desert, and they were not bad.

Let alone how incredible the building is!

We had a new-year dinner there (two person, close to 300 €) the service and quality of food were good, not really worth this price but we went home to our hotel well pleased and in a good mood.
This experience made us placing a reservation for the next evening as well.

Very slow service, waited for 30 minutes for service, 30 for the food to come and 30 for the table to be cleared + check. Food was alright at best.

We payed 120 € for this bunch of boiled trifle. We strongly recommend to avoid doing the same mistake like we did. Opposite of that restaurant there is another small one, (I cannot publish the name here I guess) - it is the much better choice.
If all good restaurants (except the Salamande) are closed (like today) go and sit near the shore with a beer and an old piece of pizza! It´s always the better choice! Believe me!

And then everyting got changed somehow. The reserved table was not available any more, so we got a place in the last dark edge of the restaurant. We ordered and got our starters, the bread came as we almost finished and what they served was the top of embarrassment: The small baguettes (with "2014" written on it) were those we left the evening before. So dry that it was impossible to even break them in two pieces.
I ordered new bread and got another kind, unfortunately not less dry.
The main dish (Dorade - looked like a small piece of charcoal, and some small, slabby undefined pieces of Kabeljau, each accompanied by a sticky flavourless heap of potatoe-puree) were the absolute worst we ever had. Not eatable. We let it return almost untouched. Unfortunately the staff seems to be immune to get the point. Only the dessert (Nougat icecream with raspberrysirup) was good.

Moules à la Normande served over the New Year. Tiny mussels, no warning by the waiter that they were so small, often with nothing inside. 3 Oysters for my wife badly opened with shell fragments inside. Waiter who avoids eye contact when you need him and to top it all, way overpriced. To be avoided!
