Ignore the person who gave this restaurant one star, they must be mentally ill or a saboteur. Impeccable location with a scenic view of Medieval city Langres and a new, contemporary interior. The food is Michelin star rating worthy and one of the best meals for lunch I have had outside of Paris. Certainly worth of detouring off the autoroute or making a special reservation. Friendly staff and a nice bar cafe seating area as well. Fantastic outdoor seating under trees in the summer.

Accueil parfait & agréable

The cuisine is a step above your garden-variety bistro, served with a laid-back and friendly attitude. The pace of life in this corner of France isn't exactly frantic, allow yourself to savour your meal. The chairs are comfy perfect to take your time, have an aperitif, and enjoy a pause between courses... in other words, when in Langres, do as the Langrois do. The homemade mille-feuille is worth the trip in itself, just for its flaky, crispy-creamy goodness.

Après il faut parler du restaurant, un seul mot : très bon je sais ça en fait 2 mais seulement le deuxième c'était pas assez.

Lovely setting on the medieval walls of the (never breached) fortified city of Langres. Sitting on the terrace under the huge chestnut trees there's an open panorama of the surrounding countryside and a view of the triumphant 17th-century Porte des Moulins.

Superplek om gezellig binnen of buiten te lunchen/dineren. Prijzen OK, gerechten zeer goed en gevarieerd.
