The staff, the food, the price, and the people who eat there are very friendly.

It's maybe one of the busiest restaurants in Pau, lots of locals and business people visiting go there due to its location, the good quality of food, and variety of options. As the taste is always the same, you get the feeling it's industrialized.

For meat lovers this is the place to be! You can't go wrong if you are ordering any meat dish. How ever the staff is so rude I'm telling you! Every time I go I just try to ignore them now! I guess they are super stressed out because of the size of the quantity of customers they serve... but hey this guys don't have manners at all! The decor of the place is great as well! It makes you feel cozy yet is a hectic place!

Very good casual fine dining. Busy, good service, good food. No English menu. Good or generous portions depending on what you order. Would love to go again.

A brasserie we would all like to have. Well trained and pro staff. I enjoyed it

Traditional brasserie in modern wrapping. Fantastic food and lively atmosphere. Booking tables is not a possibility so be there at 1915 latest

I would recommend this restaurant to customers who are European. For non Europeans there are a lot of restaurants around.

Proper bistro food, French menu with no translation, perfection.

Raciste place, on this day of 16th nov at around 19h10, i went to try it out, i stood for almost 5 minutes and ll the staff ignored me. Then someone showed up with his mouth full of food and told me to take a seat and that they ll start at 19h30. I took it easy and went and chose a table. Then clients started coming in (European) and the staff started showing up and giving menus and asking clients which drinks they want....customers that came after me...i gave them 10 minutes and no one came. One of staff came to a table close to mine and he gave me his back and took care of the Europeans... i took my jacket and on my way leaving no one stopped me to ask if something is wrong.

At the door i met the guy who talked to me at the beginning and i told him that apparently i m not welcome here. He did not even try to apologize.

For all tourist passing by Pau (I personally head there everytime I am in the city), this one of the best places to eat. They do awesome meat and fish and their french fries are to die for (generous portions) aswell as deserts ! Just an overall great place for food.
Well located in the center of the city next to all the shopping alleys and historical buildings of the city
Typical french bistro !

There are not enough superlatives to describe this place. Many regulars will remember the old premises - quirky, chaotic and full of charm. The new-ish site across the square is an altogether smarter affair with Art Deco styling - much roomier and more light, although it will not be to everyone's taste. Thankfully the menu has not changed - still the delicious Chateaubriand, the extraordinary cheese plate and the local Madiran wines. The service remains warm and friendly - the waiters do not bat an eyelid when I ask for my steak 'bien cuit'. The two vegetarians in our party were happy with their omelettes. This bistro is always busy, and you will usually have to wait for a table, but it's always worth it. A must for anyone visiting Pau
