I visited Verdun by chance while on a roadtrip and we were looking for a restaurant to have lunch. As we did not have much time to explore the city to look for other restaurant, we did the worse thing we could, to choose whichever without checking tripadvisor.

Utrolig dårlig service. Ingen styr på reservation, vi havde reserveret bord udendørs, kom 10 min. før og fik besked på at vi skulle sidde indenfor. Da vi ikke ville accepteret dette, fik vi anvist et bord, men blev ikke serviceret. To gange bad vi om at få lov til at bestille, og da der ikke blev taget notits af os, fik vi efter en halv time. Der var ikke tjek på folks bestillinger og endnu mindre på afrydning af borde.

Très mauvaise expérience dans ce restaurant. Très déçue par le pavé de bœuf qui était impossible à mâcher, les frites surgelées et la salade en sachet trop vinaigrée. La salade gasconne était aussi très décevante (lardons, magrets et gésiers en boîte...) ainsi que la salade niçoise (le thon avait encore la forme de la boîte !). De plus, aucun geste en retour de notre mécontentement si ce n'est un "elle n'a qu'à aller bouffer ailleurs" de la part du cuisinier et des regards de dédain. Je déconseille fortement !!

The comparison is done against other restaurants I've been to during the roadtrip. In other towns for a lower price, there are honest restaurants who do their traditional local specialities.

Tranquille, propre, très abordable. Service souriant. Bémol, pas De formule

Honestly, you can take a look at my pictures and the price. Totally not worth it and it felt like everything isn't prepared in house but from canned industrial products. May do better trying elsewhere or eat a sandwich by the river.

Ambience and deco was alright for this restaurant, however for the food I believe it could be better. I had the Quiche Lorraine(the only good one which can't be ordered without ordering a full menu/set), and the Duck confit with some fries. My wife order grilled entrecote(rare) but it was served cold. When asked to change, the waitress shouted in french to the kitchen, and I quote, "the meat is too rare for the customer!"
