Most beautifully situated right on the River Loire, with a fairytale mini-chateau right opposite, this hotel is worth visiting just for the delight of sitting out in the garden and looking around you.

Cadre magnifique, très bon acceuil et cuisine de qualité....

Chambre agréable et spacieuse, mais surtout, le petit déjeuner dans une salle troglodyte, qui fait son effet :)

The underground breakfast area was quite unusual, so gave a good start to the next day.

Stayed at this lovely hotel overlooking the Loire. Set back off the main road behind the chateau it has great all round views of the countryside. Great little traditional hotel, staff on call when you arrive as there didn't seem to be a full-time receptionist, you use the phone on the desk; lovely. Breakfast is basic, some bread, croissant, jams and tea or coffee; has to be coffee when in France. For an evening meal we used the restaurant across the road which has some sort of connection to a the hotel, but you can't add the cost of the meal to your room. The hotel structure is a mixture of very old and new, creeky floorboards and low ceilings, did catch my head once going up the stairs, hillirious. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

However, we did feel that it was over-priced compared to others - are they charging extra for the view? Their cancellation charge of 30€ per room per day payable if you cancel within a month of your arrival also seems a bit steep. And when we were there on a rainy day in June we couldn't have dinner at the hotel as the only dining area was outside in the pouring rain, so had to trudge to the village and find a cafe there.

Bel posto, situato in una buona posizione. Ottima la vista dalle camere, che sono però un po' piccole... Si tratta comunque di un alloggio semplice ed elegante. Consigliato.

Excellent! We were here for three days, had a great time! So friendly with friendly service! Clean and nice. The restaurant is also very good and friendly. We'll come back!
