Fantastic place for some live swing music. You get to see great dancers of all age groups, killing it on the floor! Entry is between 13-15euros and each cocktail is around 12euro. Totally worth it! Go for the experience!

As a fan of live jazz I was surprised that I had not been here. Like Le Caveau des Oubliettes, the Caveau de la Huchette is a cavernous space with great acoustics. The place does fill up and despite this being Paris, people will park themselves on the floor and take in the great music. The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars was the price of refreshments - 6€ for a coke and 11€ for a pint of beer. Advice, go there after hydrating.

Great music. Crowded but you can eventually find a seat. It is obvious there are "regulars" and we really enjoyed watching them dance. Everyone is welcome to dance. Fun night out.

I was expecting a great time tonight. I arrived at the club. Paid 15 to get in, no band playing. Drank 2 glasses of wine (another 20 euros), still no band, 1.5 hours later. I have never written anything bad about a club before, but I was really disappointed.

Great, fun Jazz club for American's to visit. The place is packed and warm with a TON of people dancing. We loved the cover band that played tons of American songs in a more "jazz" version.

NOTE TO "REAL" JAZZ FANS - this is more of a fun tourist destination and not really a serious jazz club. So don't go here if you want to sit and listen to music.

Pretty darn cool place. Maybe a bit touristy, but what a cool spot! Bartender is a total character, who will make you speak French and then tell you "I'm sorry, I don't speak French." Uses that joke 6 times an hour. Had a ton of fun at this place.

I'm a swing dancer in the states so I was all too thrilled to find this venue. We went on a Saturday night so it was jam-packed and people kept crashing into us without apologizing, but what can you do? Quality music, smiling faces. Worth the trip, but I'd probably get there earlier next time!

This place was recommended by a friend, who used to live in Paris years ago. She said it was great for live music and dancing. It sure was! The band was super, dance floor full of couples swinging and jiving away and had a good amount of seating to watch the action. It's definitely worth the low cover price, so don't skip this spot on your trip!

Really fun night out in Paris with my wife! Big plus: no cell service in basement which means no one is on their phone. They are enjoying the life in front of them!! Minus: bad air flow and really HoT when you're dancing! People of all ages loving their lives here. You should go!
