So far so good, into our first week here and it's so peaceful. Stu and Syb are very laid back hosts and the first communal meal we had last night was lovely, four courses with wine for 15euro per person...now that is value. The area of the Loire is picturesque with loads to do and so far most attractions have been at a fraction of the cost of the UK equivalent. Good location for days out or just staying on site, where if it gets too hot you can take a dip in the small on site pool. Stu and Syb have enchanted the place with tasteful improvements, the main in being the open sided barn where the meals are served and Syb hands out your freshly baked bread and croissant orders in the morning. There are three friendly chickens, a dog and cat that roam around adding to the ambience and for little ones there is a play area in the centre of the camping area...not checked put the gites yet, but will do before we leave as would like to come back with the family. A little off the beaten track but well worth the effort to discover it.

This site is small and very friendly. It is like UK CL site. You pitch up in the grounds of a 17th century farm house. The English family, who have owned it for the last 10 years, have changed it into a piece of France’s, utopia! The farm buildings are renovated into Gites, with 10 pitches with EHU or without for tents, caravans or MH, no hard standings. A small dip pool. Unisex toilets, with disabled facilities. The site is totally enclosed so for children it is ideal. We have visited several times and keep going back. You will either love it or hate it.
Peace and tranquillity is the norm (when we were there). If you want to indulge, there is, twice weekly meal nights, plus home baked pizza, in the bread oven, and local bread baked on a Sunday, served with a variety of fillings!
Will we go back YES?

We camped here and really enjoyed it. It's small, pretty, personal and very well kept. The owners are nice & the sociable communal meal was enjoyable.
We didn't sleep very well because of work going on in the woods & a small country road next to the site. This probably wouldn't bother people who don't sleep lightly though.
The bird song was brilliant! Lovely doggie too.

A nice campsite and really, really friendly owners. It did feel a bit like I was camping in someone's back yard, though
