Authentic French food. Good wine

I am only giving one star as there is not an option for zero. My husband and I went here for a late lunch. While awaiting our food a MOUSE (La souris) ran across the restaurant and under our table. My husband got the attention of the waitress (who I believe to be the owner based on her behaviors). She did not make much of an attempt to do anything to get rid of the mouse who continued to run around freely. The waitress brought our food before we had a chance to leave. We had the escargot, fish salad, and onion soup. All of the food was a big disappointment and very difficult to attempt to enjoy as the mouse was still freely running around the restaurant. We quickly paid the check and left the restaurant, eating only enough few bites to satiate our hunger and leaving our plates full. Mice for lunch is unacceptable. Go somewhere else.

We went for lunch and paid 14,90€ for a Herron fillet salad as an appetizer and then chicken with a mushroom cream sauce and fries as the entree. The food was very good and there was a lot of it compared to other restaurants we went to around the same price. The only downside is the restaurant is cramped, there is no space between tables and tables have to be pulled out for you to get in your seat.

Lovely place. We ordered frog legs and onion soup for entree and duck confit and chicken escalope for main. All dishes were good, although the onion soup had some eastern spices which gave it a weird taste. Lovely staff and lots of local customers.
With two 50cl wines and coffee, total bill was 67 euros.

I was looking for a more casual place and found this. I was not disappointed. The food and wine were good.

Typical French local brasserie, serving the traditional French comfort food for a reasonable price. We went here for lunch with friends. We had the boeuf bourguignon, confit de canard and a rumsteak, combined with a bottle of Chardonnay. Kids had a steak haché. All the food was good, wine was fine as well.

AMAZING food! We enjoyed our meal so much. The French onion soup might have been the best I've ever tasted. The steak and stew were cooked perfect. Try the pepper sauce on the steak. Amazing flavor! Kind and friendly couple helping us were great. The ambience is so comfortable and homey. We will be back again!

Wonderfully local feel inside. Great, unpretentious regional food at great prices.

I had the best creme brulee of my life here and I've had many. Did not taste burnt, and a perfect balance of taste and texture in your mouth. My taatare was too 'relevee' for my taste, but that doesn't mean it wasn't of good quality. My girlfriend's cheese plate was delicious. Our waitress was a joy. Go for simple french cuisine and affordable prices.

Delicious food but the wait can be very long and the restaurant felt hot and stuffy. The lady running around taking orders and delivering food really doesn't speak much English so it could be a little difficult to get your words across.

An excellent classic French place. The foie gras tasted fresh and delicious! The beef bourguignon and the steak with foie gras sauce come highly recommended and certainly don't disappoint. Entrees are good sized and not expensive. Wine offerings are incredibly cheap compared to NYC wine prices, but with good variety and they match the primary dishes very well. This will be my favorite casual French place in Paris from here on out.
