I really don't understand why places in Paris love to have customers inside of a sauna....
I went there on a sunny hot Sunday and they had the windows open - not to use their AC. It was hotter inside that outside...
It is really uncomfortable to eat and have a pleasant time when you're sweating.

Nice place for French cuisine, especially should try for their lunch set menu which I think is value for money. Tried the chicken breast, salmon fish and fish of the day, shared among my family, all as delicious as it can be. Especially the chicken breast, one of the best I had in years. The chocolate truffle cake was nicely done, with home made ice cream on top, really cannot resist to have another one. A must go after your visit to the Louvre.

Good flavor dish though lunch would be better value for the price they charge. Nerversely, we had a great candle light dinner here.

Best ceviche ever! Rumsteck was amazing! Great service and awesome cosy atmosphere, two steps from the Louvre!! What else?! Lunch Menu at 28€ (entrée + plat or plat + dessert)!!

Damn. Toward the end of a week in Paris, and this was our best meal. Thank you, Rick Steves! Dinner on a Sunday night. We just walked up around 7:30 and were lucky to snag a great table in the back library room. Very charming. Service was extremely accommodating for us typical mono-lingual Americans. Food was absolutely top-notch. We both chose the 35€ main plate + dessert. There was also a delicious amuse bouche and some of the tastiest bread we've had this visit. I had scallops and husband had risotto. I selected cheese for dessert, but was too full to do it justice. He had an apple tart and enjoyed it immensely. My only minor complaint was that the scallops could've been warmer. Otherwise, impeccable. An excellent meal and a very good value - I highly recommend and will make a trip to revisit the next time we're in Paris

I recommend this place for a quiet dinner with family.
It is situated in a very nice touristic area.
A bit expensive for what it is (in my opinion) but overall good.

On a sunny winter afternoon, when the light comes in through the the windows to partially light the table well into the café, this is my favourite place in Paris for a tea.

Excellent little restaurant across the street from the Louvre (back side). I don't speak French but the staff seemed to speak enough English that t didn't matter. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My wife and I had Sunday brunch and the food was amazing. The salmon and eggs was some of the best I've had and the raspberry spread for my toast... I couldn't get enough of it.
We wanted to go back the next day but we ran out of time with everything else we wanted to do, but I will definitely go back next time I'm there.

Nice looking place with good food, but very very crowded and quite touristy. We had to wait for about 20 minutes in a queue before we could be seated. The service was slow, which makes sense considering the volume of people going there. If you have a lot of time to spare, this restaurant could be quite enjoyable, otherwise I suggest you look elsewhere.

Touristy bar, good service. Not very expensive but still not for the local Parisian

Great food and atmosphere. A bit pricey for what it is.

We had a wonderfully delicious experience at Le Fumoir, from the incredibly well prepared dishes to our lovely waitress. I really thought I was being bold ordering the Octopus appetizer, but it was a fabulous combination of fresh flavors from the cucumber slices, cream fraische to the cucumber and pear puree. Now, the Pork Belly with cream corn was so amazing it brought tears to my eyes! We also were amazed at the little pea-filled Ravioli with parmesan cream, mushrooms, and truffle oil.

Whether or not the long wooden bar really did originate from a a Chicago speakeasy, there’s a really good vibe to this place as a place for an evening drink or lunch time meal. Very well priced considering the location and make sure you ask for a taste of the under counter rum cocktail/concoction they keep.
