i had breakfast once during my parisien holiday and it was just awesome! The staff was very kind and friendly, the cakes looked all so delicious. I got a lemon pie (too much meringue to be honest but still very very good and really spectacular) and my boyfriend got a fig pie, very good as well. Prices are average for Paris, and i would say it definitely worth a visit.

Cool vibe and great Lobo place. Come after 15:00 and order the delicious Coco

Because the waiter was slow to take our order, the last piece of strawberry pie was taken by a customer with a more considerate waiter. (Sigh) I guess the service here is no different from any other cafe in Paris. Generally poor if you do not speak French as your 1st language. We are very polite and patient customers. But, it sure is difficult to continue being so patient during our entire visit--especially when we are paying. I can see how it would be easy to come off as a rude American after enough of this type of treatment. It doesn't seem to matter if we try to speak French. Why bother when it doesn't make a difference in how we are treated?

Great place for a piece of pie or cake. Coffee is actually quite awful (Parisian style coffee at its best...). Afternoons can be quite busy so be prepared to queue. Chocolate pies are real nice, but the star of the show is usually the meringue.

Great food, very authentic. Amazing desserts displayed extravagantly. I would return.

Amazing cakes!! There is always a big queue, but if you go in groups of two you might be able to skip most of it. If you go early morning there is a fix breakfast menu, which is nice, but the best is to go when breakfast is over and enjoy the amazing cakes that's are baked non stop (specialty is the lemon one). Good selection of teas, no alcohol at all if I remember correctly

The lemon cake and the venue were a bliss. But everything else was disappointing. The lunch we tried was really unpleasant - the pasta was uncooked and bitter, the salry tart quite mediocre. We had three different guys serving us, the oldest one was very pretentious, the younger ones were very polite. I would not recommend lunch there - the only worthy thing on their menu is the lemon tart but not even sure I will go back given the fallen expectations from everything else.

This place had a cake buffet and everything looked amazing!! It was hard to choose but in the end we got chocolate and carrot cake and the were both outstanding.

Tea and desserts rock! Best tarte tatin ever! Staff can be a bit edgy. Queue is long as well

The place is big inside and there's plenty of room to come with a group. However, they have a rule that you can't get a table until everyone in your group arrives. Also, you are not supposed to bring your laptops.

Cozy, Parisian, casual, warm, situated snugly in the Marais. The cakes and pies are out of this world. The staff is probably the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in Paris. This will become a regular place for us!

Fantastic array of cakes. We had a very nice tart and salad as a main but the real action is for dessert. A choice of 10+ cakes, pies and pastries which are constantly updated as they are made. Yes, €8 is more than I would expect to pay but the portions are huge.

Authentic decoration with nostalgic feeling. It is a great place to enjoy hot coffee/tea along with some pastries. You may be asked to wait for a while for a seating.

The star is the lemon meringue pie with its giant Italian meringue. The problem is there is probably too much meringue. It was very sweet (and, unfortunately, grainy) and needed sharper lemon as contrast. Still good but looks better than it tastes.

We had lunch yesterday at this cozy place in Marais. It is very popular and we waited in a line for about 20 min for a table which was worth it. Had a lovely blue cheese and pear savory pie with a very nice light salad. The tea was wonderful. I noticed some reviews complaining about the price of the pie, but the slices were huge and I thought the prices were a good value for the area. The waitress was very kind and offered to translate the menu for us. I definitely recommend.

Definitely overpriced for what you're getting. After an expensive brunch you still leave hungry. Long queues, not a nice staff.

This place is overrated. The desserts are nothing special. I could feel the sugar granules in the meringue. Also, the service and seating aren't the best.
